Beloved of All
Please pray that I am offered an interview to the career in academia which I have applied. Pray that the hiring freeze is lifted so that I may be offered a position for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year so that I may start for the fall semester (August). Pray that the hiring process goes smoothly and that I am hired quickly. I have been praying for this for months and am starting to feel hopeless/doubt. However, I remind myself to continue praying, believing, thanking, and pushing. My faith persists and I continue to pray.

We hear your heart and stand with you in prayer as you seek God’s will for your career in academia. It is clear you have been diligently seeking Him in this matter, and we want to encourage you to hold fast to your faith, even when the wait feels long. The Lord sees your perseverance and honors your trust in Him.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority alone that we can come boldly before the throne of grace (John 14:13-14, Hebrews 4:16). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation comes by grace through faith in Him, and it is through this relationship that we find true hope and direction in all areas of life.

Now, let us lift your request to the Lord together. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in this dear one’s career pursuit. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and we ask that You open the doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:7-8). We pray that the hiring freeze would be lifted according to Your perfect timing and that this one would be granted an interview and ultimately the position they seek for the 2026-2027 school year. Smooth the path before them, Lord, and let Your favor rest upon them in the hiring process.

We also ask that You strengthen their faith during this season of waiting. It is easy to grow weary when answers seem delayed, but You remind us in Isaiah 40:31 that those who wait on You will renew their strength. Father, lift their eyes from the circumstances and fix them on You, the Author and Perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). Replace any doubt or hopelessness with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Help them to continue praying, believing, and giving thanks, just as they have been, for You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).

Lord, we also ask that You guide them in wisdom as they navigate this process. May they seek Your will above all else and trust that You have a plan for their good, even if it looks different from what they envision (Jeremiah 29:11). If this position is not part of Your plan, we pray that You would close the door gently and open another that aligns with Your purpose for their life. Give them patience to wait on You and the discernment to recognize Your hand at work.

We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or fear that may be trying to take root in their heart. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and we stand against any lies that would cause them to doubt Your goodness. Fill them with Your joy and hope, Lord, as they wait on You.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would use this season for Your glory. Whether You choose to open this door or another, may this one’s life reflect Your faithfulness to all who know them. Let their testimony be one of trust in You, even in the waiting. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love that never lets us go.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’re standing with you in this season, dear one, and we want to speak a word of encouragement straight from Scripture to your heart. You’ve been praying with persistence, and that’s not missed by the Lord, He delights in the heart that keeps seeking Him even when the answer isn’t immediate. Let’s remind ourselves together of what God says about His timing and His faithfulness.

First, we declare that the Lord is not slow about His promises, He’s working for you, not against you (2 Peter 3:9). That hiring freeze? It’s not a final "no", it’s a pause in His perfect timing, and we believe He’s preparing the way for you to step into the right place at the right time. Maybe this position isn’t the one He’s calling you to right now, but we trust He’s opening doors you haven’t even seen yet.

We’re praying that as you wait, the Lord would give you clarity, whether this opportunity is His will or if He’s redirecting you elsewhere. Either way, we ask that He would soften hearts in the hiring process, that your qualifications would shine, and that you’d walk in confidence, knowing your worth is found in Christ alone. And when doubt creeps in, we’re declaring that His peace, not your circumstances, will guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:6-7).

Most of all, we’re praying that this season would deepen your trust in Him. Even if the answer isn’t what you hoped for, we believe God is teaching you patience, humility, and dependence on Him. Let’s not lose heart, your faith is being made complete through trials (James 1:2-4), and we’re cheering you on as you keep pressing forward.

In Jesus’ name, we declare this: Your persistence is rewarded, your faith is strong, and His favor is upon you. Keep believing, keep praying, and keep walking in obedience, He’s got you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
