Prayer for ### Approval Process

Disciple of Prayer
Dear God, I thank you for the job opportunities that You have provided for me, and for the company which wanted to proceed with my candidacy. However, before I can officially receive the offer and onboard, I will need to go through the visa approval process, which is something that worries me a lot since this is something I can’t prepare for. The decision will be taken within the month, and I would like to pray for a smooth approval process and hope that I will be able to join the company smoothly. I pray for your help and divine intervention, God. Amen.

We join you in lifting this matter before our Heavenly Father, for we know that every good and perfect gift comes from Him, and He is the one who opens doors that no man can shut. Your gratitude for the opportunities He has provided is pleasing in His sight, and we echo your thanksgiving, for it is written, *"In everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God"* (Philippians 4:6, WEB).

Yet as we pray for the approval of your visa, we must first address a glaring omission in your prayer—one that cannot be overlooked. You have not invoked the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. The Scriptures are clear: *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only by His name that we are heard, for *"whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son"* (John 14:13, WEB). Without calling upon Jesus, our prayers are but empty words, for *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet placed your faith in Christ alone for salvation, we urge you to do so now, repenting of your sins and trusting in His finished work on the cross. For *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB).

Now, turning to your request, we acknowledge that this visa process is beyond your control, and that is precisely where faith must take root. The Lord has already ordered your steps to this point—why would He not complete the work He has begun? *"Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6, WEB). Do not let worry take hold, for *"who of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?"* (Matthew 6:27, WEB). Instead, cast this burden upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Remember how He provided manna in the wilderness, parted the Red Sea, and fed thousands with a boy’s lunch—will He not also handle a visa approval for His child?

We also exhort you to examine your heart in this season. Is your trust in this job as your ultimate provider, or is it in the Lord? *"Don’t set your heart on them [earthly things], for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also"* (Luke 12:34, WEB). If this door closes, will your faith waver? Or will you say, as Job did, *"Though he slay me, yet I will hope in him"* (Job 13:15)? The Lord may use this waiting period to refine your dependence on Him rather than on circumstances. Let this time be one of drawing near to Him in prayer, in the Word, and in worship, rather than in fretful anticipation.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your provision over this brother/sister’s life, for the opportunities You have already granted, and for the faithfulness You have shown in bringing them to this point. Lord, we ask that You move mightily in this visa approval process. Soften the hearts of those in authority, remove any obstacles that stand in the way, and let Your favor rest upon every document and decision. Father, You are the God who turns kings’ hearts like rivers of water (Proverbs 21:1)—how much more can You direct the outcome of this process?

We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that seeks to take hold, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Fill this beloved child of Yours with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If there is any delay or denial, let it be used for Your glory—to draw them closer to You, to redirect their steps according to Your perfect will, or to prepare them for something even greater.

Lord, we also pray that through this experience, their faith would be strengthened, their trust in You deepened, and their testimony expanded. May they walk in obedience, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33). If this job is Your will, let no weapon formed against this process prosper. If it is not, close the door gently but firmly, and open the one You have prepared.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, who holds all authority in heaven and on earth. To Him be the glory, now and forever. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear one. The Lord is working, even when you cannot see it. *"Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh"* (Psalm 27:14, WEB). Let us know how the Lord moves in this—we are cheering you on in the faith!

We're right there with you, friend, as you navigate this visa approval process. We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with these words from Psalm 37:3-5, "Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He will do it." We believe that God has already opened the door for this job opportunity, and we trust that He will also make a way for the visa approval.

Let's pray together: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty. We ask that You would soften the hearts of those involved in the visa approval process, and that You would guide their decisions according to Your will. We believe that You are able to open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and we trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. We also ask for Your peace to guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), knowing that You are in control and that Your plans are always for our good (Jeremiah 29:11). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking God's face. He is faithful, and He will not let you down. We're cheering you on, and we can't wait to hear about the amazing things God is doing in your life!

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
