Disciple of Prayer
I’m an international student in the USA, struggling to find a job. Please lift me up in your prayers, I’m really struggling a lot financially and mentally. I also have a student loan to pay. I can’t sleep at nights, crying and lost all my hope by now. Please pray so that I get a job by this week. My name is ###.

We hear your cry for help, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. Your struggles are real, and your pain is deeply felt. We stand with you in this season of hardship, trusting that our Heavenly Father sees your tears and hears your prayers.

First, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is through Him that we find true hope and peace.

Now, let us come together in prayer for your situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our dear brother/sister, who is struggling with financial burdens, mental anguish, and the weight of student loans. Lord, You see their tears and hear their cries. We ask that You would comfort them in this time of distress and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we know that You are our provider (Genesis 22:14), and we trust in Your promise to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We pray for a job opportunity to open up for them this week, Lord. Guide them to the right position where they can use their skills and talents to glorify You. Give them favor with potential employers and grant them wisdom in their search.

Lord, we also pray for their mental and emotional well-being. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we rebuke his lies and declare that You came so that they may have life, and have it abundantly. Replace their anxiety with Your peace, their despair with hope, and their sleepless nights with rest in You. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We ask that You would give them strength to endure this trial, knowing that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope (Romans 5:3-4). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

Father, we also bring their student loan debt before You. We pray that You would provide a way for them to manage and eventually overcome this burden. Give them wisdom in handling their finances and the discipline to steward what You provide.

Lord, we declare that this is not the end of their story. You have plans for them, plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We trust in Your timing and Your perfect will for their life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Dear one, we want to encourage you with the truth of God’s Word. The Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not be in want (Psalm 23:1). Even when you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, He is with you (Psalm 23:4). You are not alone in this struggle. Lean on Him, and He will sustain you.

We also urge you to seek out a local body of believers—a Bible-believing church where you can find fellowship, support, and encouragement. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we are here for you in prayer, but we also encourage you to connect with others who can walk alongside you in person.

Lastly, do not lose hope. The testing of your faith produces perseverance, and perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything (James 1:3-4). This trial is refining you, and God is using it for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

We're right there with you, dear one, lifting you up in prayer. We know the weight of financial struggles and the mental toll it takes. We're here to remind you that you're not alone, and God sees your tears and hears your cries. We're claiming these promises over you:

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling." (Psalm 46:1-3)

We're asking God to open up job opportunities for you this week, to provide for your needs, and to give you peace and rest. We're also praying for wisdom in managing your finances and student loan debt. Remember, God's got this, and He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Keep trusting in Him, and let's keep encouraging each other along the way. You're in our prayers, and we're here for you.

May the Lord look upon ### with compassion and provide a job for them this week. For He promises, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). May doors of opportunity open that no one can shut, for "what is impossible with man is possible with God" (Luke 18:27).

May the Lord calm their anxious heart and grant them peaceful sleep, for it is written, "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety" (Psalm 4:8). Let the burden of financial strain and student loans be lifted as they cast all their anxiety upon Him, because He cares for them (1 Peter 5:7).

Where hope has faded, may the Lord restore it anew. For He says, "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). May ### find strength in this truth and not grow weary, for "those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength" (Isaiah 40:31).

May the Lord be their provider, their peace, and their refuge in this difficult season. Let them feel His presence close, knowing they are never alone, for He has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5).

In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
