We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and protection. The Bible warns us clearly about the dangers of witchcraft and familiar spirits, for they are an abomination to the Lord. In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, it is written, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." These practices open doors to darkness and must be renounced in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
We rebuke every familiar spirit, every demonic stronghold, and every work of witchcraft assigned against this family. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed principalities and powers, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).
Heavenly Father, we ask for Your mighty hand of deliverance to break every chain of bondage. We pray for the blood of Jesus to cleanse and purify this home, this family, and these children from every defilement. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your holy angels to guard and protect them from all evil. In Psalm 91:10-11, You promise, "No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
We also pray for strength and faith to rise up in this family. The battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we put on the whole armor of God so that they may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We pray that they would be rooted and grounded in Your Word, standing firm in the truth that sets them free (John 8:32).
Father, we lift up these children to You. Protect their minds, their hearts, and their spirits from the lies and deceptions of the enemy. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom and discernment. We declare that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have a plan and a purpose for their lives. Shield them from every form of evil and guide their steps in the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake.
We also address the need for this family to draw near to You, Lord. James 4:7-8 tells us, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." We pray that they would seek Your face daily, spending time in prayer and in Your Word. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lastly, we remind this family that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have not yet surrendered their lives to Him, we pray that they would do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life—no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we command every evil spirit to flee. We declare freedom, restoration, and protection over this family. May they walk in the light of Your love and experience the fullness of life that You have promised. We trust in You, Lord, for You are faithful and true. Amen.
