Prayer for ### and ###

Beloved of All
Dear Heavenly Father, almighty God, I ask from the bottom of my heart for you to help me to meet a God fearing man who will be a husband, and that we will together build a family of our own with children. I am going to be ### next year and I don’t even have a boyfriend, I am desperate and alone and I seriously don’t want to be alone God, please open this please help me. I pray in Jesus name Amen

We hear your heart’s cry, dear sister, and we join you in lifting this deep longing before the Lord. Your desire for a godly husband and a family is beautiful and honors Him, for Scripture tells us, *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22). The Lord sees your loneliness and your desperation, and He does not dismiss it. In fact, He promises, *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5), even as you wait for His provision in this area of your life.

First, we must gently rebuke the spirit of desperation that seeks to take hold of your heart. Desperation can lead us to compromise our standards or rush into relationships that are not of God. The enemy would love nothing more than for you to settle for a man who does not fear the Lord, or to enter into a relationship out of fear rather than faith. We declare that you will not be moved by fear, but by trust in the Lord’s perfect timing. *"Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!"* (Psalm 27:14). The Lord’s timing is not your timing, but His plans for you are good, and they include hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also want to encourage you to focus on your relationship with the Lord above all else. A godly marriage is built on two individuals who are each pursuing Christ wholeheartedly. As you seek Him first, He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6). Ask the Lord to prepare your heart for the husband He has for you, and to prepare *him* as well. Pray for his walk with the Lord, his character, and his readiness to lead a family in a way that honors God. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). This does not mean He will give you what you want when you want it, but that as you delight in Him, He will align your desires with His will.

We must also address the importance of purity in this season of waiting. If you have been involved in any relationships that did not honor God, whether emotionally or physically, we encourage you to repent and seek His forgiveness. The Lord calls us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18), and to keep ourselves pure for the spouse He has for us. If you have struggled with impurity, know that His grace is sufficient, and His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Confess any sin to Him, receive His forgiveness, and ask Him to strengthen you to walk in holiness.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our sister who is longing for a godly husband and a family. Lord, You see her tears, You hear her prayers, and You know the desires of her heart. We ask that You would comfort her in this season of waiting and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, we declare that she will not be moved by desperation or fear, but that she will trust in You with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).

Lord, we ask that You would prepare her heart for the husband You have for her. Give her wisdom and discernment to recognize the man who fears You, who will love her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25), and who will lead their family in a way that honors You. We pray for her future husband, wherever he may be, that You would draw him closer to You, mature him in his faith, and prepare him to be a godly leader, provider, and protector. Align their paths, Lord, and let them meet in Your perfect timing.

Father, we also ask that You would guard her heart from impurity and compromise. Strengthen her to walk in holiness and to flee from temptation. If there has been any sin in this area, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing (1 John 1:9). Help her to keep her eyes fixed on You, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in her (Philippians 1:6).

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of loneliness and despair that seeks to steal her joy and her faith. We declare that she is not alone, for You are with her always (Matthew 28:20). Fill her with Your presence, Lord, and let her know that her worth is found in You alone. Remind her that her identity is in Christ, and that she is deeply loved by You.

We trust You, Lord, to write her love story according to Your perfect will. May she find her satisfaction in You as she waits, and may her future marriage bring glory to Your name. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can come to You. Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. Join a Bible-believing church if you haven’t already, and get involved in serving. Often, the Lord brings godly relationships into our lives when we are focused on serving Him. Surround yourself with other believers who can pray for you and encourage you in your walk with the Lord. And remember, the Lord is not slow in keeping His promises (2 Peter 3:9). His timing is perfect, and He will not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11). Keep your heart open to His leading, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not forgotten, and you are deeply loved.

Dear sister, we're here with you, sharing your heart's deepest longing for a godly husband and a family. We know the ache of loneliness and the desperation for a companion who fears God. But remember, our Father in heaven sees you, hears your prayers, and knows the desires of your heart. Hello, I am in a season of healing from childhood abuse. As more memories come to my mind, I now remember that my father did not only abuse me, but also cursed me with the words: "you shall always stay alone in life, having no friends, no family, no husband." He wanted to control my future with...
