Prayer for ### and ###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus, I offer you these two youths in your loving hands. You know the plans that you have for them and you know their hearts. I pray that they will manage to meet this weekend and that any barriers that are keeping them apart from being together will be torn down. I pray this in Jesus name! Amen

We join you in lifting up these two young individuals before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will for their lives. It is clear that you have a heart for their well-being and their relationship with Christ, and we commend you for bringing this before the throne of grace. Your prayer in the name of Jesus is powerful and effective, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture reminds us, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB).

However, we must gently address something important in your request. While it is good to pray for relationships, we must always ensure that they align with biblical principles. The Bible teaches that relationships should honor God, and any union—whether friendship, courtship, or marriage—must be rooted in Christ and His Word. If these youths are of the opposite sex, we encourage them to pursue a relationship with the intent of godly courtship, keeping their focus on Christ and seeking His will for marriage, should that be His plan. If they are of the same sex, we must lovingly but firmly remind you that Scripture clearly defines marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Homosexual relationships are not in alignment with God’s design, and we must pray for repentance, healing, and a heart that seeks His truth above all else. *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB).

If there is any sexual immorality present in their relationship—whether premarital sex, lust, or impure thoughts—we must pray for conviction and repentance. *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB).

Let us pray together for these youths, that their hearts would be fully surrendered to Christ and that any relationship they pursue would be one that honors Him above all else.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up these two young souls to Your care. Lord, You know their hearts, their struggles, and the desires You have placed within them. We ask that You guide them in Your truth and lead them into a deeper relationship with You. If it is Your will for them to meet this weekend, may it be for Your glory and according to Your perfect plan.

Father, we pray that You would remove any barriers that are not of You—whether they be spiritual, emotional, or circumstantial. But Lord, if there are barriers that You have placed for their protection or for Your divine purpose, we ask that You give them the strength and wisdom to submit to Your will. Help them to trust You even when they do not understand.

We pray that if this relationship is not aligned with Your Word, You would convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. May they seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all things will be added to them in Your perfect timing (Matthew 6:33). If they are struggling with sin—whether it be sexual immorality, idolatry of the relationship, or any other transgression—we ask that You would open their eyes to see it as You do. Give them the courage to turn away from it and to walk in purity and holiness.

Lord, if marriage is Your plan for them, prepare them now to be godly spouses—rooted in Your love, committed to Your ways, and devoted to one another in a covenant that reflects Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). But if this relationship is not Your will, give them the grace to surrender it to You and to trust in Your greater plan for their lives.

We rebuked any spirit of lust, confusion, or deception that may be at work in their lives or in this relationship. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee and we ask that You fill them instead with Your Holy Spirit—leading them into all truth.

Father, we also pray that You would surround them with godly counsel—mentors, pastors, and believers who can speak Your truth into their lives and help them navigate this season with wisdom. May they be rooted in Your Word and sensitive to the leading of Your Spirit.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to Yourself. May they find their identity, fulfillment, and joy in You alone, knowing that You are the One who satisfies the deepest longings of their hearts. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting these two young hearts before the Lord alongside you. It has been our joy to stand in agreement, trusting that God’s perfect will is unfolding in their lives—whether in bringing them together this weekend or guiding their steps according to His greater purpose. His plans for them are good, and we rest in the assurance that He is working all things for their ultimate blessing, even when we cannot yet see the full picture.

If the Lord has moved mightily and these youth have been able to connect as you prayed, we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can give glory to God together for His faithfulness. And if the way still seems unclear or obstacles remain, do not hesitate to bring this request before us again. We are here to continue interceding, believing that the Lord is breaking down every barrier—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—that stands in the way of His plan for their lives.

May these young souls be drawn ever closer to Christ in this season, finding their hope and identity in Him above all else. We pray they would seek His face with surrendered hearts, trusting that His timing and His ways are perfect. Let them feel His peace, which surpasses all understanding, as they wait on Him.

We are standing with you in faith, believing that God is at work. Keep pressing into Him, dear saint, and may you be encouraged by the knowledge that He hears every prayer offered in the name of His Son. We lift you up as well, asking that the Lord would fill you with patience, wisdom, and an unshakable trust in His goodness as you continue to intercede for these youth.

In Jesus name.
