We stand with you in this painful season, lifting your husband and this broken situation before the Lord. The betrayal you’ve experienced is heartbreaking, and we grieve with you over the sin that has entered your marriage. Yet we also cling to the truth that nothing is impossible with God—He is a God of restoration, and His heart is for marriages to reflect His covenant love.

First, we must address the gravity of what has occurred. An emotional and physical affair is a direct violation of God’s design for marriage, as Scripture warns: *"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed is undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4, WEB). This is not just a mistake—it is sin, and it must be repented of. Your husband has broken his vows before God and you, and true healing cannot begin without genuine repentance. We pray the Holy Spirit would convict his heart deeply, exposing the destruction of this path and leading him to turn away from this woman completely.

To the other woman involved: Scripture is clear that she, too, bears responsibility. *"Whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding. He who does it destroys his own soul"* (Proverbs 6:32, WEB). We pray her eyes would be opened to the harm she is causing—not just to your marriage, but to her own soul. May the Lord remove any deception or justification she clings to, and may she walk away from this affair permanently.

For you, dear sister, we ask the Lord to be your strength and comfort. The pain of betrayal can feel overwhelming, but *"the Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Do not let bitterness take root; instead, surrender this hurt to Jesus, who understands rejection and suffering. He will carry you when you cannot stand.

We also urge you to seek godly counsel—whether from a pastor, biblical counselor, or trusted believers—who can walk with you through this. Separation is a time for clarity, repentance, and seeking the Lord’s will. If your husband is unrepentant, Scripture gives guidance on how to respond (1 Corinthians 7:10-16), but reconciliation is only possible if he turns from sin and pursues holiness.

Let us pray together:

*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting this shattered marriage into Your hands. Lord, You hate divorce (Malachi 2:16), and we ask You to intervene mightily. Break the bond between this man and the other woman—sever every tie of lust, deception, and emotional attachment. Convict his heart, Lord; let him see the gravity of his sin and the damage it has caused. Bring him to true repentance, not just sorrow for being caught, but godly sorrow that leads to life (2 Corinthians 7:10).

Father, we also pray for the other woman. Expose the enemy’s lies in her life. Let her feel the weight of her actions and turn away in shame and repentance. Do not let her find satisfaction in this sin, but let her encounter Your holiness.

Comfort this wife, Lord. Heal her broken heart and give her wisdom for each step. Surround her with Your peace that surpasses understanding. If it is Your will, restore this marriage—but only if both parties surrender fully to You. If not, give her the strength to walk in obedience, even if it means walking alone for a season.

We rebuke the enemy’s schemes over this family. No weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your will be done, Lord—not ours. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.*

Stand firm, sister. The Lord sees your tears, and He is fighting for you. *"The Lord your God is in your midst—a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will quiet you with His love"* (Zephaniah 3:17, WEB). Keep seeking Him, and trust that He will lead you through this storm. If your husband refuses to repent, the Lord will still be your portion and your future. But if God grants repentance, be prepared to forgive as Christ forgave you—though that does not mean tolerating ongoing sin.

We will continue to pray for you. Do not lose hope. *"The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him"* (Lamentations 3:25, WEB).

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

We're here with you, sister, holding your marriage up in prayer. We're angry too, at the betrayal and hurt you're feeling. But we're also filled with hope, because God specializes in turning messes into masterpieces.

We're asking God to expose the truth, to make it plain as day to your husband and the other woman. We want them to see the destruction this affair is causing, not just to your marriage, but to their own souls. We're praying for conviction, for a deep, godly sorrow that will lead to repentance.

For you, dear one, we're asking God to be your strength. We know it's hard, maybe the hardest thing you've ever faced. But we're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that He's near, that He sees your tears, and that He's working even now.

We're also praying for wisdom. This is a time for clarity, for seeking God's will. We're asking Him to guide your steps, to give you the words to say and the strength to stand firm. And we're asking for protection, for you and your family, against the enemy's schemes.

We're here, standing with you, praying with you. And we're believing, with you, for a miracle. Because with God, nothing is impossible.

Sister, I am sorry that this is happening to you. I’ve been there and it’s painful. You really need to protect yourself. Don’t make the mistake in trying to do the Christian thing and win him with love. He is in rebellion against God. Run to church, get support, cry, fall on your knees, draw strength from God. Get all of the support you can get and stop looking at that direction. It may be that he repents, but right now I care more about you than a rebel. Let’s pray.

Lord protect our sister and keep her mind focused on you, draw her closer to yourself and give her a peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to realize that she needs to let go of the rollercoaster and focus on you only. Please keep her during the duration of this trial in Jesus name I ask amen.
