Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for those entangled in deception and unrighteousness, especially the team at and their legal representatives. The Word of God declares, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6 WEB). Yet we see so many, even those trained in the law, walking in darkness, justifying sin, and suppressing the truth in unrighteousness (Romans 1:18).

Father, we lift up these souls to You, for apart from Christ, no one can discern spiritual truth or walk in righteousness. The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him (1 Corinthians 2:14). We pray that You would open their eyes to the deception of Satan, who blinds the minds of the unbelieving (2 Corinthians 4:4). Break the chains of pride, self-justification, and worldly wisdom that keep them from humbling themselves before You.

Lord Jesus, You alone are the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which men must be saved (Acts 4:12). We plead the power of Your precious blood over these individuals, that it would cleanse them from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7). Forgive their sins, O God, for they have transgressed Your holy law, whether through dishonesty, disregard for human life, or other works of the flesh. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

We rebuke the spirit of deception that has hardened their hearts. You desire truth in the inward parts (Psalm 51:6), so we pray for a deep, unquenchable thirst for Your Word and Your righteousness. Stir within them a godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). Let them see their sin as You see it, an offense against Your holiness, and turn from it with broken and contrite hearts.

Father, we also pray for the believers among them, that You would strengthen their faith and give them boldness to stand for truth in the face of opposition. May they be salt and light in their spheres of influence (Matthew 5:13-16). Guard their hearts from discouragement, and let them walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We acknowledge that righteousness does not come through education, position, or human effort, but through faith in Christ alone. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB). We pray that these individuals would come to know You as Savior and Lord, surrendering their lives to Your will.

Holy Spirit, convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Draw them to the foot of the cross, where mercy and grace flow freely. Let them experience the transformative power of Your love, which alone can break the chains of sin and set the captive free.

We thank You, Father, for Your holiness and Your faithfulness to complete the work You have begun in us (Philippians 1:6). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your sovereign will. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this situation, as it is in heaven.

We know from Scripture and life that sorrow alone isn’t enough; Pharaoh and Saul both felt sorry, but their remorse didn’t produce lasting change. What we long for these people is that God-given, broken-and-contrite heart you mentioned, a real turning that makes sin feel unattractive because it’s seen in the light of His holiness.

We can’t manufacture that in someone else, but we can keep bringing them before the Lord. As you continue, you might find it meaningful to write your own short prayer for them, just a few sentences you can return to, asking specifically that the Spirit would expose the lies they’re believing and replace them with a genuine love for what is true and just. That focus often helps our own hearts stay steady in intercession.

Jesus, we ask you to work deeply in the hearts of these lawyers and legal representatives. Give them the gift of a contrite spirit, not just a momentary regret, but a thorough turning away from evil and toward what you call righteous. Protect those they’ve harmed or may harm, and stir up in them such a thirst for truth that they find no rest until they come to you. In your name, amen.

The very prayer for an unquenchable thirst is itself the first dew of divine grace upon the soul. Yet let us be clear: thirst is not quenched by admiring the empty cistern of human profession, but by stooping to drink from the Fountainhead. Our Lord Jesus Christ is not merely a teacher of righteousness; He is “The Lord our Righteousness,” and the very Sun of Righteousness who rises with healing in His wings.

You speak of those bound by Satan’s lies, and the darkest chamber of that prison is self-righteousness, a smoldering heap of rubbish that sends up a smoke most obnoxious to God. A lawyer learned in the statutes of men may yet stand before the bar of Heaven pleading his own comparative goodness, and in that very plea he pens his own indictment. A perfect righteousness you must have, or else you shall never be admitted to that wedding feast. This righteousness cannot be stitched together from the rags of human compassion or professional integrity; it is the seamless garment woven by the life and death of the Son of God, imputed to the one who works not, but believes.

You cry out for truth, and well you may. Buy the truth, and sell it not. Buy all the truth; do not pick and choose a fragment of doctrine that leaves the conscience asleep. Buy the truth at any price, for you will never be received by God at last unless you bring the truth in your right hand, and that truth is a Person. He is the center of all truth, and there is no honest communication that is not calibrated by His Word. To pray for their hearts to hate sin is to pray for the very essence of repentance, for the acceptable sacrifice to God is a broken and contrite heart. This is not a mere sorrow for consequences, but a holy fury against the evil itself, worked by the Holy Spirit who intercedes with groanings that cannot be uttered.

Do not marvel that the educated and the studious fall into horrible sins. The way of man is not in himself; it is not in man that walks to direct his steps. The Lord must overrule even the wickedness of Nebuchadnezzar to serve His own designs, and He can just as easily snatch a sinner from the counsel table as from the gutter. Our plea is not that they become more righteous by their law-keeping, but that the granite rock of imputed righteousness might be laid beneath the sinking sand of their lives. When the Sun of Righteousness shines directly upon them, the darkness of self-deceit will melt like a morning mist. It is decision for Christ and His truth that has the greatest power, not a modified religion that cloaks worldliness in respectable terminology.

Therefore, let your faith strengthen its grip. When conscience cries out that no perfect righteousness can be brought in, answer it with the name Jehovah-Tsidkenu. Pray that this unquenchable thirst burns away every lie, for God is a God of truth and cannot bear a lie. We ask not for a partial cure, but that Christ may be their total salvation, their one central Sun, eclipsing all lesser lights. Stand upon this, and even as you intercede, do not fear the face of man, for the Lord’s own arm shall bring the victory. Justice has been vindicated at the cross; now may that resplendent manifestation of divine righteousness break forth upon these souls until they exalt His name with you, being justified freely by His grace.

You have asked for a great thing, an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness. This prayer is precious in the sight of God, for such a thirst does not arise from a lukewarm soul but from one that is itself aflame. Yet understand deeply what you seek for those lawyers and representatives. A thirst for truth is not merely to know what is right while continuing in crooked paths. The divine word says, "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness," not those who merely admire it at a distance, but those who pursue it with all the intensity of a starving man craving bread, a parched man gasping for water. If they receive that thirst, it will drive them not to more clever arguments but to the feet of Christ, crying out for mercy.

Consider their peril. You plead for those who have studied law, who handle words and justice daily, yet you say they are bound by Satan's lies and disregard human life. This is a terrifying state: to possess the knowledge of truth in letters while trampling it in deeds. For if we sin willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Do not think that education or professional rank shields anyone from this fire. That fire is unquenchable, burning like the bush that was not consumed. And this is why you must continue to pray with trembling, yet with hope.

But how shall such hard hearts be broken? You quoted the Psalmist well: the sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart He will not despise. No legal maneuvering, no outward religious form, can substitute for that inward shattering. John the Baptist came preaching a baptism of repentance, leading men to accuse themselves. So too these lawyers must be brought to condemn their own works, to hate their sins so completely that they flee from them and lay hold of Christ. It is not enough to feel a passing regret; there must be a foundation of repentance from dead works, a decisive turning wherein they abandon the system of falsehood and submit to the One who bears the sin of the world.

Therefore, direct them to the living water. Christ Himself stood and cried, "If any man thirst, let him come unto Me and drink." He draws no one by force; the thirst must be kindled within. And this water He gives is not the stagnant cistern of human wisdom, but a well springing up into everlasting life. Whoever drinks of it will never thirst again, because it satisfies the soul with righteousness and holiness of truth, not in figure but in reality. Pray that they taste this water, for only then will the craving for dishonest gain and the love of twisting words be drowned in a greater desire.

Do not grow weary in interceding, but also examine yourself. You say you do not boast, yet you must guard against even a hidden pride that looks down on fallen lawyers. Rejoice that affliction for the truth can become an occasion of gladness, and let your own breastplate be a life of universal virtue which the devil cannot pierce. Stand firm. Continue to ask that their hearts be stirred, that the unquenchable thirst be given. God is able to turn stone into flesh, to make sons of righteousness out of those who were sons of disobedience. Let your prayer ascend with tears, and leave the rest to His holy will.

Your prayer reveals a heart that genuinely longs for others to walk in truth, and that is something God values deeply. We are right to be grieved when we see human life treated lightly or communication twisted into dishonesty. What you have described about educated people falling into grave sin should not surprise us, because technical knowledge of law or any field has never been what transforms a heart. The world has always mistaken intellectual achievement for moral goodness, but what we truly need is a righteousness that comes only one way.

The very thirst for truth and righteousness you are asking God to give them is a thirst no amount of study or professional success can produce. A person can read volumes and still be ignorant of God’s righteousness, busy building a framework of their own goodness that will crumble under the weight of His holiness. The human heart, left to itself, will either deny God exists or try to earn His favor by a record of good works outweighing the bad. Both roads lead to disaster. That is why Psalm 51 matters so much. You quoted it rightly: God does not delight in sacrifice. He is not impressed by religious motions or even by a life that looks upright on the outside. What He will not despise is a broken spirit, a heart that has been shattered by the reality of its own sin and has nowhere else to turn.

So when you pray for these people, you are asking for something impossible without a divine interruption. They need to see that the truth they are suppressing is not a distant ideal but a person. Mercy and truth met together in Jesus Christ. God can be merciful to the guilty because Jesus already bore the curse for every broken command, every twisted word, every act of violence against truth. Justice has been satisfied at the cross. The righteousness God requires is not something we manufacture through legal skill or moral effort; it is the righteousness of Christ imparted to anyone who will stop trusting in themselves and put their faith wholly in Him. Pray that they would give up what is, in the end, a proud effort to stand on their own record, and instead humbly receive the gift of a righteousness that is not their own.

As you pray this, let the same prayer work on your own heart. We all need that unquenchable thirst, and it is dangerously easy to see the sin in others more clearly than the pride or self-sufficiency lurking in ourselves. Ask God to search you, to test your thoughts, and to reveal any way of wickedness still lingering within you. The person who truly hungers and thirsts for righteousness is promised to be filled, but we must be careful that our concern for others never becomes a quiet platform for self-righteousness. We are fellow beggars pointing to where the bread is found. The time for any of us to turn, to be forgiven, and to be clothed in a righteousness that lasts is not next year or when things settle down. Behold, now is the accepted time. Now is the day of salvation. Let that urgency fuel both your prayers for them and your own continued walk with Him who is the way, the truth, and the life.
