Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We come before the throne of grace with hearts heavy for those entangled in deception and unrighteousness, particularly the team at and their legal representatives. It is written in John 8:32, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." Yet how can they know the truth if they do not seek the Author of all truth? We lift them up, asking that the scales fall from their eyes so they may see the light of Christ.

Lord Jesus, we acknowledge that apart from You, there is no salvation, no freedom from sin, no peace, and no righteousness. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We pray that these individuals come to know You as their Lord and Savior, for only then will their thirst for truth be quenched by the living water You offer. John 4:14 says, "But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life."

We rebuke the lies of Satan that have bound them, for Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We plead the blood of Jesus over them, that it may cleanse their hearts and minds, breaking every chain of deception and unrighteousness. Hebrews 9:22 tells us, "According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission."

Father, we confess that even those trained in the law can fall into grievous sin, as Romans 3:23 states, "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." We do not boast in our own righteousness, for Isaiah 64:6 says, "For we have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteousness is like a polluted garment." Instead, we humbly ask that You work in their hearts, convicting them of sin and leading them to repentance. Psalm 51:10-12 cries out, "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me. Don’t throw me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit."

We pray that they would hate sin as You hate sin, for Psalm 97:10 declares, "You who love Yahweh, hate evil!" Let them turn from their wicked ways and seek Your face, for 2 Chronicles 7:14 promises, "If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Lord, we grieve over the disregard for human life and honest communication that has taken root in their hearts. Proverbs 6:16-19 warns, "There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers." Stir within them a hunger and thirst for righteousness, for Jesus said in Matthew 5:6, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled."

We thank You, Holy Father, for Your holiness and for the Holy Spirit, who intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). We exalt the name of Jesus Christ, for He alone is worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. Let Your will be done in the lives of these individuals, that they may turn from their sins and embrace the truth found only in You.

Heavenly Father, we pray that You would soften their hearts, open their eyes, and draw them to Yourself. Let them experience the transforming power of Your love, that they may no longer walk in darkness but in the light of Your truth. We ask that You raise up godly men and women in their midst to speak truth and righteousness into their lives, that they may be led out of deception and into Your marvelous light.

We pray for a revival of truth and righteousness in their hearts, that they may become beacons of Your light in a world darkened by sin. Let them no longer be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of their minds, that they may prove what is Your good, acceptable, and perfect will (Romans 12:2).

Thank you for sharing this burden with us. It is clear your heart is heavy for these people, and we join you in longing for them to be set free from the lies that entangle them. It is no small thing to grieve over the dishonesty and disregard for human dignity that you describe, and that grief itself is a gift, a reflection of God’s own heart.

When we pray for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, we are asking for a work that only the Holy Spirit can accomplish. True change does not come from feeling bad about what they’ve done or simply wanting to avoid consequences. Real repentance is a turning in the mind that leads to a whole new direction, walking out of sin, not just feeling sorry and then repeating it. That kind of transformation is exactly what you are crying out for them to experience. It is also what we hear in Psalm 51: God delights not in empty gestures but in a broken and contrite heart. That is where healing begins.

We want to encourage you to keep lifting them up before the Lord with confidence, not because they deserve it, but because He is merciful. Persistence in prayer is powerful, and you do not know how God may use your faithfulness to stir their consciences. If the opportunity ever arises for you to speak truth or simply to live it out before them, that can be another way grace reaches into dark places. But above all, rest in the truth that God sees, He cares, and He is able to turn even the most entangled hearts toward Himself.

Let’s pray together now.

Father, we come before You in Jesus’ name, trusting Your power to redeem. We lift up the team, their lawyers, and all who have been caught in sin. You know the full weight of what has been done, and You also know every hidden fear, pride, and wound. We ask that You break through with conviction that leads to life, not despair. Give them a holy restlessness until they taste the freedom that comes from walking in truth and righteousness. Protect those who have been hurt by their actions, and let Your mercy triumph over judgment. We thank You that You never tire of pursuing us, and we place this situation in Your hands. Amen.

You have been watching men who should know better, who have studied what is right, who have words like “justice” and “truth” often on their lips, turn everything upside down. It has troubled you deeply, and I can see it. Not because you hate them, but because you love righteousness. Not because you wish to judge, but because the disregard of human life and honest speech has cut your heart. And now you have cried out for one thing above all: an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness to be given to those who seem to have no thirst at all.

Sit down a moment and consider who gave you that prayer.

A longing for righteousness to break out in the hearts of others does not rise from a stony soul. The very fact that you grieve over sin you did not commit, that you carry a burden for men who may not even know they are lost, is one of the quiet signs that the Spirit of God has already been at work within you. The world shrugs its shoulders at dishonesty and calls it shrewd. The world thinks nothing of trampling on the weak so long as the strong come out ahead. But you cannot. And that is no small thing. That is a little flicker of the same fire that burned in the prophets. That is a drop of the very compassion of Christ, who wept over a city that would not weep for itself. You are not merely annoyed; you are grieved. That is holy ground.

I know it feels as though your prayer rises into a vast silence. The lawyers and the team you name seem so far off. Their hearts look locked and barred. You have asked for an unquenchable thirst, but they appear to be drinking down falsehood with no discomfort at all. But do not measure the power of your plea by what your eyes can see this afternoon. When a ship is in deep water, you cannot tell which way the current is carrying her, yet she moves all the same. The Holy Spirit is not idle. He knows the combination to every heart that seems most securely fastened against Him. A single verse of Scripture remembered in the watches of the night, a sudden prick of conscience in the middle of a compromise, a dream, a child’s question, a near miss with death, He has a thousand keys we have never seen.

And what of your own thirst? You pray it for them, but I wonder whether you have noticed it quickening in yourself. A soul that pants for righteousness like a deer for water is a soul that shall be satisfied. Why? Because the One who gave you the thirst means to quench it. He does not stir up longings in His children to mock them. The broken heart, the spirit that aches over evil and clings to what is true, that is the very sacrifice He will never despise. You remember the ancient king who cried, “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit.” He had learned it through his own terrible fall and his own bitter weeping. But he came out on the other side singing. Those very bones that were broken became, in the hand of God, instruments of a music no unbroken man could ever make. And he found, to his utter amazement, that there was a sweetness in lowly sorrow at God's feet that he had never tasted when his path seemed smooth.

So take heart for yourself first. Your grief over wrong is not a sign that you are losing faith; it is a sign that faith is alive and fighting. Your thirst for righteousness in the world is not a useless pain; it is the Spirit’s own intercession within you, groaning too deep for words. And as for those you pray for, the men and women who have traded the truth for a lie, whose studies only made them cleverer at concealing their shame, there is no pit so deep that the long arm of the Redeemer cannot reach the bottom. He has pulled up souls from lower depths than theirs. Saul of Tarsus was a scholar too, and he breathed out threats, and he had blood on his conscience, and yet one noonday light from heaven made him a new man. That same Christ sits at the Father’s right hand still.

You have done the best thing you could do: you have rolled the whole heavy load over onto the Lord. You have not taken a sword into your own hand. You have not fallen into despair. You have prayed. And every syllable of that prayer is heard in heaven with an attention we cannot imagine. The Father is not hard of hearing, and the blood of Jesus speaks louder than all the noise of earth’s falsehoods. Your prayer for them is a love letter, even if it arrives in a black-edged envelope of sorrow. And He who reads it knows how to answer.

So do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. The same Spirit who gave you this godly thirst for righteousness in others is able to create the fountain of it within them. Your part is to keep praying, keep trusting, and keep your own eyes fixed where the great answer already hangs, on the cross where truth and mercy kissed, and where even the hardest hearts find their breaking and their mending.

Let me commend you and all this tangled matter into the hands that were pierced for us.

Lord Jesus, we are not praying into the wind. We are speaking into the ear of the One who still turns wolves into lambs and dead consciences into living wells of truth. We ask for these men and women what they would never ask for themselves: give them a thirst that will not let them sleep until they have drunk of righteousness. Break whatever hardness must be broken, and let the pieces lie before You. Cover with Your precious blood those You are calling, and grant them such a sorrow for sin that it leads them clean away from it into the light of Your face. And for this dear soul who carries them on the heart, give quiet rest. Let the peace that passes understanding stand guard over the mind. We leave them in Your keeping, for You do all things well. Amen.

Your soul does well to pray for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, for blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, not merely keeping close to it with a slack hand, but pursuing it with all the desire of the covetous heart transferred to heavenly gain. This thirst is the very call of Christ, who does not drag anyone by necessity, but cries, "If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink." Those who come with the longing of a parched man eagerly draining a bowl will never weary until they have drunk up the divine oracles. So it must be with these lawyers and all who are bound by the lies of the evil one: they must first thirst, truly thirst, and then hasten to the fountain.

Yet let no one imagine that believing only is sufficient, for even the demons tremble and yet are punished. Those who have received the knowledge of the truth and then willfully persist in sin have no further sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment and fiery indignation that will devour the adversaries. If a tree planted and watered yields no fruit, it is pulled up by the roots and handed over to the unquenchable fire. The unquenchable flame of hell awaits those who, having been enlightened, show no fruit of righteousness and compassion. This fire never dies, like the sun that ever burns, like the bush that blazed but was not consumed. You shudder now to hear it, but the sight itself will be far more terrible for those who taste it by experience when escape is impossible.

Do not, then, rest content with tears alone, for tears do not always carry true repentance. Esau sought the blessing carefully with tears yet found no place of repentance, because he did not repent as he ought; his grief was not the broken and contrite heart that God will not despise. A murderess full of thirst after prophets’ blood took delight in the spectacle of a severed head, unmoved by the sight that should have turned her cold. So a heart entrenched in sin needs more than passing sorrow; it must be utterly broken, hating the sin so fervently that it does not continue in it. Cry out for that broken spirit, acceptable to God, that transforms a man from water and earth into a new creation in righteousness and holiness of truth, not the shadow of clean rituals, but the very reality of a life of universal virtue.

Pray, then, that they put on the breastplate of righteousness, for as a breastplate is impenetrable, so a life of righteous deeds fixed in the breast no one, not even the devil, can pierce. Let them gird their loins with truth, not false pleasure, and shod their feet with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. The righteous man will not be put out of temper; he will prove in all goodness what is well-pleasing to the Lord. Stir your own heart first with this unquenchable thirst, and by your alms and your prayers, lay up treasures that quench the fire before you depart. Then entreat the Lord to work mightily in them, that they would flee the adversary’s lies and run lightly, unencumbered, to the fountain of living water. For what defeats the covetous and the angry and the false is this very righteousness that hungers and thirsts and will be filled. May they not disregard human life and honest communication one day longer, but with fierce longing turn and drink from Christ, and let rivers of living water flow from within them to eternal life.
