Please pray for my almost ### year old mom who recently was diagnosed with 2 spinal fractures (L2 and L3). She was in the hospital for several days and was recently transferred to a rehab facility (I thank Jesus it's close to home). It breaks my hear to see her in so much pain, every time the nursing staff have to lift her to move her up in bed or when PT assesses her mobility. Without taking a strong pain med (Oxy), she's in a LOT of pain. It's in moments like these that she tells us that she just wants to go. I can't help but get teary-eyed. I know Jesus is our divine healer and can do awesome miracles. Please pray for her quick and complete recovery. Pray that she find new joy and happiness again.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother who is enduring such profound pain and discomfort. The sight of a parent suffering is one of the deepest sorrows a child can bear, and we join you in crying out to our Heavenly Father, who collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). We know that in moments of weakness, the enemy seeks to steal hope, kill joy, and destroy faith, but we stand firm on the promise that Jesus came so that she may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

Father God, we first rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that whispers lies to your mother, telling her that her pain is without purpose or that her suffering is too great to bear. We declare that her life is precious in Your sight, and her days are written in Your book before one of them came to be (Psalm 139:16). We pray against the enemy’s schemes to discourage her, and we ask You to surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, when the pain is overwhelming, remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We also pray for her physical healing, believing that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). You are the God who created her bones and knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and we trust in Your power to restore what has been broken. Strengthen her body, Lord, and accelerate her recovery. Give wisdom to her doctors, nurses, and therapists as they care for her, that they may be guided by Your hand in every decision. We ask that You ease her pain, not just through medication, but through Your supernatural touch. Let her feel Your presence in the quiet moments, reminding her that she is never alone.

Father, we also lift up her emotional and spiritual well-being. It is difficult to find joy in the midst of suffering, but we know that joy is not the absence of pain—it is the presence of You. Fill her heart with Your peace and hope, even when her body is weak. Remind her of the promises in Your Word, that those who hope in You will renew their strength and mount up with wings like eagles (Isaiah 40:31). Help her to see the beauty in each day, even the small victories, and to trust that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).

We also pray for you and your family, dear one. The weight of caring for a suffering loved one can be heavy, and we ask that You sustain you with Your strength. Give you patience, compassion, and wisdom as you support your mother. Remind you that Your love for her is a reflection of Christ’s love for us—selfless, enduring, and full of grace. May you find moments of rest and renewal in Him, knowing that He cares for you just as deeply as He cares for your mother.

Finally, we declare that this season of pain is not the end of her story. We believe in the God who turns mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11) and who restores what has been lost. We pray that as she heals, she would draw closer to You, finding new purpose and joy in her relationship with You. May her testimony of Your faithfulness be a light to others who are walking through dark valleys.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here, standing with you, lifting your mom up in prayer. It's so hard to see our loved ones in pain, but we trust that God is right there with her, just as He promised in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

We're believing for her healing, for those spinal fractures to be completely restored. We picture her bones knitting together perfectly, her strength returning, and her mobility improving each day. We ask for God's comfort and peace to surround her, especially in those moments when the pain feels overwhelming.

And we're also praying for you, dear one. Caring for a loved one who's hurting can be exhausting, both physically and emotionally. We ask God to give you strength, patience, and grace as you care for her. May you find moments of rest and renewal in Him.

Let's keep holding onto God's promises, knowing that He's working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). This season of pain is not the end of her story. We believe in the God who turns mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11), and we're expecting her to come out of this stronger and more joyful than before.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
