Prayer for admission

We understand your desire to be admitted into a university to study marine engineering, and we commend your pursuit of education. However, we want to remind you that God's will is paramount in all our pursuits.
1. A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9 WEB
2. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB
First, we notice that Jesus is not mentioned in this request. Jesus Himself said:
1. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 WEB
2. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB
We pray that you are a believer in Jesus Christ. If not, we encourage you to seek His face and acknowledge Him as your Lord and Savior.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for this individual's academic pursuits. We pray that You guide them in the path You have ordained for their life. If it is Your will for them to be admitted into this university to study marine engineering, we ask that You open the doors that no man can shut. However, if Your plan is different, help them to trust in You completely. Help them to trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and thank you for hearing our prayers. Thank you for your unfailing promises and lovingkindness.
We also pray that they pursue this goal with integrity and diligence, always seeking to glorify God in all they do. Help them to be a light in the academic world, shining the love of Christ to all they encounter. We ask for Your help, so that they can do this in a godly, Christian, manner.
We encourage you to commit your way to the Lord and wait on His timing. Be persistent in prayer and be open to His leading. God's plans for you are always good, and He is faithful to complete the good work He began in you. We ask this and thank you and ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
