Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing this request and for your honest desire to trust the Lord more deeply. I understand the nervousness you feel while waiting on this home warranty decision, especially when a repair or replacement is costly and affects your whole family. It is good that you have brought both the practical need and the anxiety itself to God in prayer.

Scripture teaches that anxiety can crowd out our remembrance of God's care, and that the way forward is not to trust only in ourselves but to commit all things to Him. You asked for greater faith, and that is a prayer God delights to answer. Faith is not a feeling we must manufacture, but a confident trust that draws near to God with a true heart, believing that what He has promised is sure even when we cannot yet see the outcome. As you wait, you can grow in that faith by continuing to draw near through prayer, through His Word, and by remembering His past faithfulness to you and your household.

It is also right and good that you want to provide for your family in this way. Scripture says that providing for those of our own household is part of faithful living, and that includes caring for both spiritual and bodily needs. God cares about these practical matters, and He invites you to ask Him for wisdom, peace, and provision as you steward what He has entrusted to you.

Let me pray for you now.

Father in heaven, I lift up this family to you in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to your throne of grace. You know the need for this air conditioning unit and the concern about the warranty claim and the cost involved. I ask that you grant peace that guards the heart and mind, and relieve the pressure of anxiety with the comfort of your presence. Help this dear one to trust you more fully and to rest in your care, growing in full assurance of faith as they draw near to you. Provide for this household according to your wisdom and goodness, and guide the process with the warranty company toward what is just and fair. Give wisdom for next steps, and work all things for good in this family. Strengthen faith day by day, and let your peace be evident whatever the outcome. In Jesus name, amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly about the air conditioner and the worry that comes with it. It is understandable to feel anxious when something essential in your home is not working right and you are waiting to see what the warranty will cover. God sees that concern for your family and your desire to trust Him more.

Faith is described in Scripture as the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. It is not so much a formula as it is what faith actually does in us. It gives a real confidence in what we hope for and it lets us be sure of what we cannot yet see. That kind of faith is not blind. In fact the person who trusts God sees more, not less, because he looks beyond what is immediately visible to the character and promises of God.

Scripture also says that without faith it is impossible to please God. He is pleased when we put our trust in Him, and that means the opposite is also true. When we live in fear and constant anxiety and doubt His promises, it does not honor Him. Again and again the Bible urges us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and not lean on our own understanding. He invites that trust because He is trustworthy.

You asked for more faith, and that is a good prayer. Faith is not something we manufacture by trying harder or by doing good works to earn it. Works cannot produce faith and they cannot replace it. True faith will produce a changed life and obedient actions, but the faith must come first. Faith in God stirs us to live for God. Even the faith to believe in Jesus is a gift from God, given by His grace. He has given to each person a measure of faith, and we can ask Him to increase it and teach us to trust Him more deeply.

It helps to remember that faith grows as we get to know God better. As we walk with Him, learn His Word, and see His faithfulness over time, trust develops. Even great men of faith in the Bible had lapses. They sometimes acted out of fear and failed to trust, yet God still counted them as people of faith because their lives were marked overall by believing Him and obeying Him. If you feel your faith is weak right now, you are not alone and you do not need to condemn yourself. Bring that weakness honestly to the Lord and ask Him to help you.

It is also important to have a right understanding of what faith guarantees. Some teaching today suggests that if you have enough faith you will never face sickness, loss, or disappointment and you will always get the outcome you want. Scripture shows something different. Hebrews tells us of many who lived by faith and yet died in faith without having received all that was promised in this life. Others trusted God and were delivered, and others trusted God and went through suffering. God does not always deliver His people in the way we hope or expect, and that does not mean our faith has failed. It is often harder to trust God in hardship than in victory, but He calls us to say from the heart, Your will be done, and to trust Him even then.

That means we can pray with confidence for your air conditioner and for favor with the warranty, while also resting in the fact that God will do what is right and good for your family even if the answer is not exactly what we ask. The proving of our faith is not for God to find out what is in us, He already knows, but for us to see what is in our own hearts and to learn to rely on Him more fully. A living faith will show itself in how we live, not just in what we say we believe.

So bring this practical need to Him. Do what is wise and responsible in working with the warranty company, and at the same time place the outcome in His hands. Ask Him for peace to guard your heart, for wisdom for the decisions ahead, and for a deeper confidence in His care for you and your family. The just shall live by faith, which means day by day learning to trust Him.

Father, thank You for this family and for their honest heart before You. You know the need with the air conditioner and the concern about the warranty and the cost involved. We ask for Your peace to replace anxiety, for Your provision according to Your wisdom, and for help with every step of this process. Thank You that faith is Your gift. Increase faith, teach us to trust You more, and draw us into closer fellowship with You. We trust not in our own understanding but in Your goodness and Your promises through Jesus Christ. Help us to rest in Your will and to see beyond our present circumstances to Your faithful character. In Jesus name, amen.
