Earthly splendor cannot bring true happiness so we must seek lasting joy beyond worldly achievements.
We rejoice with you in this desire, for it is God who placed the desire for marriage in the heart of man. We hear your readiness to find your wife and we stand with you in prayer, asking for God's perfect will and timing. The scripture says, It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper suitable for him. Genesis 2:18 and Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh. Proverbs 18:22. We also remember that House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh. Proverbs 19:14. Marriage as God designed it is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, as Jesus taught, For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh. Matthew 19:5, and we strongly affirm and endorse this holy commitment you are seeking.
We want to encourage you as you wait and prepare. We pray not simply for a partner or a relationship, but for a godly spouse, a wife who loves Jesus Christ above all else. The scriptures urge us, Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers. 2 Corinthians 6:14, so we encourage you to seek courtship only with a fellow Christian believer with the clear goal of marriage. The season of being a boyfriend and girlfriend should be understood as courtship that honors God and looks toward that covenant. We also lovingly remind you that intimacy is reserved for marriage alone, and we must keep ourselves from fornication and keep the marriage bed pure, for God will judge the sexually immoral. We encourage you to pursue purity in thought and action as you wait, trusting God to keep you and to prepare you to be the husband He calls you to be, where Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. Ephesians 5:25. Seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 and Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4.
We noticed your prayer was to the Lord but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why His name is essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. To come to God we come through faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and trusting Him alone for salvation. We encourage you to place your full trust in Him as you seek His will for your life and future marriage.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this brother to Your throne of grace. We thank You for putting in his heart the good and godly desire for marriage. We ask that You prepare him to be a faithful, loving, and Christlike husband, growing him in holiness, patience, wisdom, and provision. Prepare also the woman You have for him, wherever she is, that she would be growing in faith and purity and love for You. Order his steps and hers, and in Your perfect timing bring them together in a courtship that honors You, free from fornication and centered on Your Word. Guard them from an unequally yoked relationship and from any compromise, and lead them toward a lifelong marriage between a man and a woman that reflects Christ and His church and brings You glory. It is a right and holy desire to seek a wife according to the Lord, and we rejoice to join you in prayer concerning it. You may seek a wife, and you shall not do ill if you seek aright, but seek first your God. Let your rule be, first an altar, then a tent. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
We would encourage you while you wait to make your whole life a seeking of the Lord. It is not enough to seek Him only for this one favor, but to seek Him honestly and with your whole heart, in every circumstance, that your life itself may be a life that seeks the Lord. The true believer follows the Lord and calls upon His name and asks counsel at the mercy seat, whether his prayer is answered at once or not. If the petition is according to God's will and promise, plead the blood of Jesus about it, and if an answer tarries, say, my soul, wait.
Remember also that marriage is a sacred thing, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman before God, and it is not less sacred to be faithfully married than to be consecrated in any other holy calling. Therefore prepare yourself now for that holy estate. Preparation is needed and must be found on this side of eternity. Seek to be the godly husband such a covenant requires, a man of prayer, of purity, of steadfast faith, keeping yourself from sexual sin and from living together outside of marriage, and walking in holiness before the Lord.

We ask that this brother would seek You first above all else, and grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation. Prepare him to be a faithful husband, and prepare, in Your perfect timing, a godly wife for him, a woman who loves Christ and will walk beside him in faith. Keep them both pure and guard them from sin, and lead them not into temptation but into holiness. Grant wisdom to seek aright, patience to wait upon You, and faith to trust Your provision. If it be Your will, bring them together in Your time for Your glory and for their good, that their home may be built upon Christ and be a testimony of Your grace. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Your prayer has been heard and I give thanks for the desire God has placed in your heart for marriage. Marriage is honorable and pure, a bond ordained by God, and it preserves the holiness that comes through faith when it is lived in faithfulness and self control. Scripture calls us to follow peace with all people and holiness, and for those who are unmarried this means remaining pure, and for those who are married it means living faithfully with your own wife and not turning aside to what would defile that holiness.
The profit of marriage is to preserve the body pure and to walk in chasteness, gravity and orderliness. Therefore this season of waiting is not empty. It is a time of preparation. Make ready the way of the Lord in your own life, keep faith right and life right, and display a life worthy of the gift you have received in Christ. The grace given to us calls us not only to turn from evil but to be adorned with good, holding fast what Christ has accomplished for us and guarding that treasure with a pure life.
I pray that the Lord will keep you in purity while you wait, reserving both sexual union and living together for within marriage alone, and that He will grant you wisdom, patience and discernment.
