Prayer For A Wayward Son..

The other day my elder son screamed and abused his father and me. He used the most foul language on us and called us many names and unjustly accused us of not caring. He kicked the stove and broke the glass and charged upstairs to my room and put his fist through the door. I wept for what he has become and for the insults, abuse and disrespect hurled at us. Please pray that God touches his heart and that he realizes and ACTS upon the fact that he needs psychiatric help. Please pray that he should see the right psychiatrist soon and be put on the meds that he needs. So far, he acknowledges that he has a problem with "anxiety" (although I suspect it's much more) but refuses to do anything about it. I love him ...he's my son but I can't deal with this anymore. I ask for URGENT prayer for help with this problem. I pray that he moves out soon and gets the help he needs. In Jesus' name. Amen.

I prayed the Lord for your family, it touched my heart and I knew that God was already on the move for your relief. Please be sure that you believe this. You should feel God touching you at your heart, and consider that a sure sign of His favor to you. Call upon the Lord with all your heart, and ask Him to take your Son under His control. I pray that also. If two of us agree in prayer, the Lord will give it to us.

It might be that you already feel comforted, but do not stop with the prayer and giving thanks to the Lord.

Heavenly Father, I know the pain she feels, the fear, the sense of loss. bring her the peace you have brought me. Bring both of us into CONTINUAL prayer for our children, even when the moment/period has past. Lord, you son died for us, for our children. With his stripes we are healed. We denounce unbridled anger, depression and anxiety, impulsivity. Lord, we denounce the demons that attack his mind, his body. Lord, we pray for his release. We pray for your guidance, to know what/how to react. Lord, I pray a hedge of protection around them, especially during moments of his attack. Lord, let them pray and respond as you would. For I know that anger is contagious, creating sinful moments for us all when we respond in hate, anger. Lord, bring this entire family into your presence. Bring them peace. Lord, I pray your holy spirit into their home, into every single room of their house. Holy Spirit come now, casting this evil from their home. If their is addiction opening the door, cast it out. If it is fear and confusion, which we know does not come from you, cast it out. Through the blood of Jesus wash the home and family. In his holy name, we cry out to you. Amen.
