We understand that you're seeking prayer for the sale of your home, and we're here to intercede and offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we remember that Jesus taught us to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all other things would be added to us (Matthew 6:33 WEB). This includes our homes and material possessions. We should trust in God's provision and timing, knowing that He cares for us.
However, we need to point out that your request did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. If you are not a believer in Jesus Christ, we ask that you trust in Jesus Christ. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Now, let us pray for the sale of your home:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who is in the process of selling their home. We ask that Your will be done in this situation. If it is Your will that the home be sold, we pray for a smooth and swift transaction. We ask that You bring the right buyers who will honor the work of our ###'s hands and be a blessing to the neighborhood.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for our ### during this time. May they seek Your guidance in all decisions and trust in Your provision. Help them to remember that their true home is in You, and that their earthly dwelling is temporal (2 Corinthians 5:1 WEB).
Lastly, we pray that through this process, our ### will grow in their faith and relationship with You. May they use this opportunity to share the love of Christ with those they encounter, including potential buyers and real estate agents.
We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
Remember, it is God who gives us the power to gain wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18 WEB), and we should always seek His will in our financial decisions. Trust in Him, and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
