Let us stand with you in prayer and seek God's will for your situation. We are reminded in 1 Timothy 6:6-8 WEB, "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that." While it is important to be content with what we have, it is also right to ask for blessings in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of a salary increment. Lord, You know the situation and the promise that was made. We ask that You touch the hearts of the new owners of the business, that they may reconsider their decision and honor the promise made.
We pray for Your provision and blessings upon our brother/sister's life. Help us to trust in You, for You are the provider of all good things. In Your word, it is written in Matthew 7:7-8 WEB, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
We ask this in Jesus' name, trusting in Your perfect will. Amen.
In this time of waiting, continue to trust in God and His perfect timing. Remember the words of Philippians 4:19 WEB, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Stay steadfast in prayer and remain a faithful servant in all that you do. We encourage you to continue seeking God's will and to be a witness for Christ in your workplace. Let us also be reminded of Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
