We join you in lifting up your daughter's journey, asking God to grant her a safe drive home. We pray in agreement with you. We are glad that you prayed in Jesus' name.
In Psalm 91:11-12 (WEB), God promises, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone." We claim this promise for your daughter and ask God to dispatch His angels to surround and protect her and her vehicle as she travels.
For your son, we pray that God will fill him with His grace and mercy, and that He will grant him favor with his boss and peers. We pray that your son's work ethic and the quality of his work will be a testimony to the goodness and faithfulness of God. As the apostle Paul wrote in Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB), "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
We also lift up your son's friendships and relationships. We ask God to ease his loneliness as your daughter leaves and to provide him with new Christian friends in his new location. We pray that God will bring godly believers into your son's life. We pray and believe for these friends to be of the opposite sex if there is a courtship that would honor God and align with biblical principles. As Proverbs 27:17 (WEB) says, "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend's countenance." We pray that these friendships will sharpen and encourage your son in his walk with Christ. As Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (WEB) says, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up." and Ecclesiastes 4:12 (WEB) says "If a man prevail against one who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken."
We pray that God will give your son peace and comfort as his best friend, your daughter, returns home. We acknowledge that the bond between your son and daughter is a gift from God. We encourage and remind you that all good gifts come from God, as stated in James 1:17 (WEB), "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow."
Finally, we praise God for your faith and for your prayers. We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you, as written in 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB).
In closing, we pray " May the Lord bless you and keep you. May The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May The Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. " Numbers 6:24-26 (WEB).
May God bless your family and keep them safe in all their endeavors and may you always feel His love surrounding you.
