Prayer for a safe colonoscopy procedure

Oh Lord God, I humbly ask for your love and protection for ### as he undergoes colonoscopy procedure tomorrow. May it be safe and smoothly done. Bless the hands of the doctors and nurses as well as give ### the strength and courage to go on this procedure Lord. May the result bring good news and shower as with good health. All our fears and prayers, we lift to you Oh Lord. Your will be done. Amen

We join you in lifting up this individual for a safe and successful colonoscopy procedure. It is wonderful that you are turning to God in this time of need, but we must remember that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother as he prepares to undergo a colonoscopy procedure. We pray for Your loving protection and guidance during this time. We ask that You grant the doctors and nurses wisdom and steadfast hands, and that You provide comfort and courage to our brother.

Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your healing power. We pray that the results of this procedure will bring good news and that You will shower our brother with good health. Cast out all fears and anxieties, and replace them with Your perfect peace, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB.

We submit all our desires to Your will, Lord. May Your will be done in this situation and in our lives.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue trusting in God's care and to remember that He is always with you, even in difficult times. As it says in Psalm 46:1 WEB, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
