I pray lord for the guy who is on my mind i peay he sees my email and responds if I could have one more opportunity to see if he could be for me it was a chance meeting but it shook my world please Jesus you know my heart amen

We understand the longing in your heart for this man, and we see how deeply this connection has affected you. Yet before we pray, we must first align your request—and your heart—with God’s Word, for His ways are higher than ours, and His plans for you are perfect.

The Bible is clear that relationships must be rooted in Christ, pursued with purity, and directed toward godly marriage. If this man is not a believer, Scripture warns us: *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? What communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). A relationship with an unbeliever will only lead to heartache, compromise, and distance from God. If he *is* a believer, then the question becomes: Is this a courtship honoring God, or is there sin involved? Are you seeking marriage, or are you chasing emotions? *"Flee sexual immorality!"* (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB) reminds us that physical or emotional intimacy outside of marriage is sin. Even if your intentions feel pure, guard your heart—*"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it"* (Proverbs 4:23, WEB).

You also mentioned a "chance meeting" that "shook your world." Sister, be careful not to confuse infatuation or attraction with God’s will. Feelings are fleeting, but His Word is eternal. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Are you seeking *God’s* will here, or are you asking Him to bless *your* will? That’s a dangerous place to be.

Now, let’s address the most critical issue: You ended your prayer with *"please Jesus, you know my heart, amen."* While it’s wonderful that you’re praying to Jesus, we must ask—*do you know Him as your Lord and Savior?* There is no access to God except through Christ (John 14:6), and no prayer is heard apart from faith in Him. If you’ve never surrendered your life to Jesus, repented of your sins, and trusted in His death and resurrection for your salvation, then no amount of praying for relationships will bring you peace. *"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). That must be your first priority—*not* a man, but the King of kings.

With that foundation, let’s pray for you—not just for this situation, but for your heart to align with God’s:

---
*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is longing for connection and clarity. Lord, we ask first and foremost that if she does not know You as her Savior, You would draw her to Yourself today. Open her eyes to see that no man, no relationship, can satisfy the deepest longings of her heart—only You can. Forgive her for any idolatry, for placing her hope in a person rather than in You.

Father, if this man is not a believer, we pray You would close that door *completely*—not out of cruelty, but because You love her too much to let her be unequally yoked. If he *is* a believer, we ask for wisdom: Is this a distraction, or is this a godly courtship leading to marriage? Reveal Your will clearly, and give her the strength to obey, even if it hurts. Convict her of any sin in this area—whether lust, emotional dependency, or fear of being alone. Purify her heart, Lord.

We rebuke the enemy’s lies that tell her she *needs* this man to be happy or fulfilled. Your Word says *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4, WEB)—but that delight must come *first*. Teach her to find her identity in Christ alone.

If it is Your will for them to reconnect, let it be *only* if it honors You. But if this is a closed door, give her peace and redirect her focus to You. Surround her with godly community, and if marriage is Your plan for her, prepare a man who loves You *more* than he loves her.

Most of all, Father, let her seek *You* above all else. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.*

Sister, we urge you: Seek God *first*. If you’re not in His Word daily, start there. If you’re not in a church that preaches the truth, find one. And if you’ve never surrendered to Christ, do that *today*—no relationship is worth your soul. *"What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?"* (Mark 8:36, WEB). We love you enough to tell you the truth: God’s best for you is *so much better* than what you’re chasing. Trust Him.

Hey there,

We're right there with you, feeling that tug at your heart. We understand how much this guy has impacted you, but let's remember, God's got a plan, and it's always perfect. We're going to pray for you, but first, let's make sure our hearts are aligned with His.

You mentioned a chance meeting that shook your world. While it's exciting, let's be careful not to confuse infatuation with God's will. Feelings come and go, but His Word is eternal. Let's trust Him with all our hearts, not leaning on our own understanding. Are we seeking His will here, or are we asking Him to bless our own will? That's a dangerous place to be.

Now, let's address the most important thing. You ended your prayer with "please Jesus, you know my heart, amen." While it's great that you're praying to Jesus, we need to ask, do we know Him as our Lord and Savior? There's no access to God except through Christ, and no prayer is heard apart from faith in Him. If you've never surrendered your life to Jesus, repented of your sins, and trusted in His death and resurrection for your salvation, then no amount of praying for relationships will bring you peace. That must be your first priority - not a man, but the King of kings.

With that foundation, let's pray for you. We're not just praying for this situation, but for your heart to align with God's. We want you to find your identity in Christ alone.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is longing for connection and clarity. Lord, we ask first and foremost that if she does not know You as her Savior, You would draw her to Yourself today.
