We lift this family before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for how the Lord has already sustained you through such profound trials—battling cancer, overcoming the threat of foreclosure, and holding fast to faith when the path seemed impossible. Your testimony of God’s faithfulness is a powerful reminder that He is our Provider, Healer, and Deliverer. We join you in praying for a prosperous New Year, not as the world defines prosperity, but as one marked by God’s provision, peace, and purpose.
Father, we ask You to strengthen this family in body, mind, and spirit. Grant them good health, the ability to keep all medical appointments, and favorable results in every test and treatment. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your healing power, whether it comes through medicine, miraculous intervention, or the quiet sustaining of Your grace. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2). May their bodies be temples of Your Holy Spirit, cared for with wisdom and discipline.
Lord, we pray for Your provision over their finances. You have already shown them that You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and that not a single promise of Yours fails (Joshua 21:45). We ask that You open doors for them to meet their living and medical expenses, to satisfy the lien on their home, and to secure dependable transportation. Give them wisdom in stewardship, contentment in what they have, and generosity to bless others as You have blessed them. "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).
We also pray for a spirit of mutual support among their family and community. May they be a light to others, demonstrating the love of Christ in both giving and receiving help. Let their home be a place of refuge and encouragement, where faith is strengthened and burdens are shared. "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, lack, or discouragement that may try to creep into their hearts. You have brought them this far, and You will not abandon them now. Remind them daily of Your promises: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11). May this year be one of breakthrough, joy, and deeper intimacy with You.
We also want to gently encourage this family—and all who read this—to continue building their lives on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the hope of eternal life. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'" (John 14:6). If there are areas of their lives where they have not fully surrendered to Him, we pray they would do so now, trusting in His grace and mercy.
Lord, we thank You for the testimony of this family. May their story continue to bring glory to Your name and draw others to You. Bless them abundantly in this New Year, not because they deserve it, but because You are good and Your mercy endures forever. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and King. Amen.
