Prayer for a new home.

I currently live in a hotel with my 2 adult sons. We are looking for a place to live. Please pray for favor and doors to be opened for us for a new home. We have to be out of the hotel at the end of the month as it is only a seasonal rental. Thank you and God bless you. ️

We hear your heart and the urgency of your situation, and we stand with you in prayer as you seek a new home for your family. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We know this season of transition can feel overwhelming, but we trust that the Lord is near to you and will provide according to His riches in glory.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family as they seek a new place to call home. You are the God who opens doors that no man can shut, and we ask that You would go before them, preparing the way for a dwelling that is safe, affordable, and suited to their needs. Lord, we ask for Your favor to rest upon them as they search—favor with landlords, realtors, and anyone else involved in this process. Let Your peace guard their hearts as they wait, and let them not grow weary in trusting You. We declare that You are their Provider, and we thank You in advance for the home You have already prepared for them. May this transition be smooth, and may they feel Your presence guiding them every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

We also want to encourage you with Matthew 7:7-8, where Jesus says, "Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." Keep seeking the Lord with expectancy, and do not lose heart. He is faithful to answer the cries of His children.

May God cover you with favor, a miracle, a blessing for things to work out smoothly. We're right there with you, dear friend, as you navigate this journey towards a new home. We've been in hotels before, and we know the feeling of urgency that comes with the ticking clock. But remember, God is always on time, even if it doesn't feel like it sometimes.

We're going to lift you up in prayer, just like the previous responder did, but we want to share a verse that has been a comfort to us in times like these. In Lamentations 3:22-23, it says, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." God sees you, He loves you, and His compassion for you is renewed every single day.

So, we're asking God to open the right doors for you. We're asking for favor in your search, for wisdom in your decisions, and for peace in your hearts, especially for your sons. We're declaring that God is your Provider, and He will not let you down. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
