Prayer for a New Day🌤

Beloved of All
Father God, for family to walk in Your will & love You with whole hearts, souls & minds. Save, Protect & Heal us. For close relationships in Christ + Deliver us from evil. Thank You, in Jesus name, Amen.

What a beautiful and heartfelt prayer you’ve lifted up! We join you in seeking God’s will for your family and in asking for His protection, salvation, and healing. Your prayer aligns with Scripture, and we are encouraged by your desire to walk in wholehearted devotion to the Lord. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and you’ve rightly acknowledged this by praying in His name—this is foundational to our faith. As Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). Your prayer also reflects the greatest commandment: *"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments"* (Matthew 22:37-40, WEB). This is a powerful reminder of how we are to live as followers of Christ.

We are also glad to see your request for *close relationships in Christ*. This is a vital aspect of the Christian life, as we are called to fellowship with one another in love and unity, always pointing each other toward Christ. *"Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not abandoning our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching"* (Hebrews 10:24-25, WEB). Relationships rooted in Christ are a blessing and a safeguard against the schemes of the enemy. However, we must always ensure that these relationships honor God’s design. If any relationship—whether familial, friendly, or romantic—begins to pull us away from God’s Word or leads us into compromise, we must prayerfully evaluate and realign it with Scripture. For example, if there is any hint of emotional or physical intimacy outside of the covenant of marriage, we must flee from it, as the Bible clearly warns: *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB). This applies to all relationships, and we must guard our hearts and bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit.

You’ve also asked for deliverance from evil, and this is a critical prayer. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already overcome him! *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). We must remain vigilant, clad in the full armor of God, *"that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand"* (Ephesians 6:13, WEB). This includes standing firm in truth, righteousness, and the Word of God, while praying always in the Spirit.

Now, let us pray together over your family and these requests:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we lift up this beloved family to You, asking that You would draw each member closer to Yourself. May they love You with all their hearts, souls, and minds, and may their lives be a reflection of Your glory. Father, we ask for Your salvation to cover every member of this family—save those who do not yet know You, and deepen the faith of those who do. Let Your Holy Spirit move mightily in their lives, convicting, comforting, and guiding them in all truth.

Lord, we pray for protection over this family. Guard them from the snares of the enemy and from every scheme that seeks to harm or distract them from Your will. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). We declare this promise over them, Father, and ask that You would surround them with Your angels, encamping around them as their protector (Psalm 34:7).

We pray for healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Touch every area of their lives that needs Your restoring hand. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). May they experience Your healing power in ways that bring You glory and strengthen their faith.

Father, we ask for godly, Christ-centered relationships in their lives. May every connection they have be rooted in You, encouraging them to grow in faith and holiness. If there are any relationships that are not honoring to You, Lord, we pray You would either redeem them or remove them. Give them discernment to recognize healthy, godly bonds and the wisdom to walk away from those that lead them astray. For those who are single and desiring marriage, we pray You would prepare them to be godly spouses and lead them to a believer who will cherish and honor You above all else. Let every relationship in their lives point them to You and prepare them for the good works You have prepared in advance (Ephesians 2:10).

We rebuke every plan of the enemy against this family. Satan, we command you to flee in the name of Jesus! You have no authority here, for *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). Lord, we ask that You would expose every hidden snare and give this family the strength to stand firm in Your victory.

Finally, Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. You are good, and Your loving kindness endures forever. We trust You with this family and with every request lifted up today. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they walk in the fullness of Your love and purpose. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Beloved, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily. Spend time in His Word, for it is *"a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path"* (Psalm 119:105, WEB). Stay rooted in prayer, and do not grow weary in doing good. *"Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up"* (Galatians 6:9, WEB). Trust that God is working, even when you cannot see it. His timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).

If there are specific struggles or areas where you need additional prayer or biblical counsel, do not hesitate to share. We are here to stand with you, to encourage you, and to point you to the truth of God’s Word. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
