Prayer for a miracle today

Please pray with me for a miraculous breakthrough of the power and the love of Jesus Christ today for my birthday for my ex-boyfriend to come back and be able to talk to me and bring healing back into our life and bring healing back into our relationship, even if we don’t get back together, at least we need to bring healing and the power and the love of God back into our relationship. Please pray with me for this today with your power and your love and with all your heart and all your life in Jesus name I pray amen and amen.

We join with you today on your birthday and we lift up your heart's cry before the Lord with love and compassion. We hear your desire for a miraculous breakthrough of the power and love of Jesus Christ and for healing to come into your life and into the relationship with your ex-boyfriend, and we stand with you to seek God's will above all.

We are encouraged that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 and In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Your faith in His power and love is precious to God.

We want to gently share biblical truth with you about relationships and healing. God deeply cares about your broken heart and He is the true healer. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. At the same time, we must trust that God's miracles always align with His perfect will and His purpose for our good. This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. A miracle is not to compel another person to return against their will, but to bring healing, peace, and restoration according to what God knows is best.

We also want to encourage you in the Lord regarding this relationship. In Scripture, being a boyfriend or girlfriend is to be understood as courtship with the goal of discerning marriage to another Christian believer, because marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman that honors God. We strongly endorse pursuing godly marriage rather than simply seeking a partner or trying to restore a relationship outside of that purpose. We encourage you to consider whether this relationship was pursuing Christ together and looking toward marriage, and whether you are both believers, for Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14. If there was any sexual intimacy outside of marriage, Scripture calls that fornication and lovingly calls us to turn from it, for Flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18 and to pursue purity as we honor God with our bodies. If this is part of your story, we encourage you to confess and receive His forgiveness, for He is faithful to cleanse and restore.

Whether God brings reconciliation or not, true healing means surrendering this relationship fully to Him and asking Him to heal both of you individually, to bring forgiveness where there has been hurt, and to make each of you whole in Christ. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28 and For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. His plan for you on your birthday and in the days ahead is filled with hope.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for this precious life You have created and for this birthday You have given. We thank You for Your unfailing love and power. Lord, we lift up this dear one to You and we ask You to pour out Your healing, Your comfort, and Your peace upon her heart today. Heal every wound, wipe every tear, and fill her with the assurance that she is deeply loved and cherished by You. We lift up her ex-boyfriend to You as well, wherever he is, and we ask You to work in his heart, draw him to Yourself, and bring healing to him also.

Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in this relationship. If it is Your will for communication and restoration to happen, and if that restoration would lead to a godly courtship that honors You and moves toward a Christ-centered marriage between believers, then we ask You to open that door in Your timing. If it is not Your will for them to be together, we ask You to bring a different kind of healing, a holy closure, forgiveness, and release, and to guard her heart from clinging to what is not best. Help her to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. Lead her to seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness Matthew 6:33 and to find her complete identity and joy in You.

Father, purify and prepare her for the future You have for her, whether that includes reconciliation or a new path toward a godly spouse who will love You first and love her as Christ loves the church. Keep her pure, keep her hopeful, and let this birthday be a new beginning of deeper faith and joy in Christ. We ask all of this according to Your perfect will, in the powerful and loving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

Your request has come before us with many tears, and especially as this day marks your birthday, the ache of a broken heart is felt more keenly. It is a dreadful thing to have love broken and hope broken and the entire soul reduced to a palpitating mass of pain. There are wounds about which we may say, around each shattered bone there lingers danger, and healing is not a light thing. Yet there is One who has been appointed to bind up broken hearts, and to Him we must look.

You ask for a miracle, for healing to come back into your life and into this relationship. Hear then what the Scripture teaches, that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed upon the Lord's people. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. The leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. There is not a word that ever fell from His dear lips but what bears healing in it for some one or other of the thousand ills that have befallen our humanity. Even a broken text from His mouth is better than the best of others. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.

But we must ask for healing as God gives it, not as our own desires would dictate. A broken column in a cemetery shows a life cut short before its climax, and so many resolutions are broken short with a but. Lord, I will follow thee, but. When the wall which should guard the character is broken down, all that is within lies open to evil, and thoughts like sheep wander upon the mountains of vanity. For this reason we cannot ask God to bless or to restore a relationship outside of His holy ordinance. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and the intimacies that belong to it are to be kept within it. To ask the Lord to prosper what lies outside that fence is to ask Him to deny His own goodness. What we may and do ask is that He will heal you in the way that is holy and true.

The prayer which David prayed after his great sin is the prayer for you now, Make me to hear joy and gladness, that the bones which You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquities. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. Come then with that sacrifice. Bring your broken hearted groans to Him who will not despise them. Best of all, as the Healer of broken hearts, God has chosen One whose own heart was broken. Jesus died of a broken heart that He might know precisely where the malady is and what remedy to apply. He has bound up millions of broken hearts, and He knows how to heal yours.

So we will pray with you, not for the return of a former attachment as it was, but for the miraculous breakthrough of the power and love of Jesus Christ in your own soul today. We ask the Lord to pardon your sin through His blood alone, for there is salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and to speak peace to your conscience by the Holy Spirit through reconciliation by His sacrifice. We ask Him to heal the broken bones indeed, not that they may merely grow quiet and calm, but that they may rejoice. We ask Him to give you a whole heart toward Himself, to set a watch upon your thoughts and affections, to rebuild the wall where it has been broken down, and to keep you in purity and patience as you trust His providence.

If it be His will that in time a godly marriage should be formed according to His word, then may it be sought in holiness and in the fear of the Lord. If not, may He grant you such healing leaves from the tree of life that your freshness and joy shall be found in Him alone, and you shall be able to say, I have nothing that I can bring before God, and therefore Christ is all. Peace may be broken through great trouble if faith is not very strong, but there is a way paved for man to come back to God by reconciliation through sacrifice, and there it remains for the Lord to speak peace to the heart.

May the Lord turn your birthday into a day of new joy in Christ, that whether this former companion ever speaks to you again or not, you shall hear the voice of the Beloved speaking pardon and healing, and your broken heart shall be bound up to live for His glory.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
