Father God,

I have confessed my sin of cheating on ### back in 2009, I made a terrible mistake. I did not hide it from him, I was honest that night. I wish I can take it all back. I know it hurt him, he still brings it up every fight. I cry and pray about it about every night. It's almost August 22nd, that would have been 6 years for us. I know it is all up to you now, my Lord. I have done everything I possibly can for him, and it's like he takes me for granted. I still love him very much. I know I did him wrong. I have no excuse for my bad behavior. I had no good reason for hurting him. I pray that you place complete forgiveness in his heart. (Ezekiel 11:19) I will remove from them the heart of stone, and give them a heart of flesh. I pray that you give us peace with it in mind and soul. I pray that I can make this situation right between us, and that we both will have complete trust in each other, and neither of us will ever do it again. I pray that I don't give him the impression that this is normal behavior for those that love you. Lord, I know that you ask our behavior be a light unto others, and my behavior certainly was not. Lord, I ask that you give us both strength to get through this situation and come out the other side better and more in love with you and each other than before. Lord, I need you, I thank you, I trust you, I love you. In Jesus Christ's Name, I pray. Amen.
