We are glad to join you in prayer and to encourage you in your journey. Since you were 12, you have been praying for a good husband, and God has been faithful to heal and redeem you from your past relationship. It is commendable that you have committed your love life to God and desire to date with the intention of marriage.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God has a specific plan and purpose for your life, including whom you should marry. It is important to seek God's will and to trust in His timing. As it is written in Psalm 32:8 WEB, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.
We also want to encourage you to continue serving the Lord in your church, community, and internationally. Your service is a testament to your faith and commitment to God. As you serve, God is preparing you and your future spouse for each other. Isaiah 64:4 WEB reminds us, For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen, O God, besides you, what he has prepared for him who waits for him.
Regarding your desire to meet the right one before you turn 30, we want to remind you that God's timing is perfect. It is better to wait on the Lord and trust in His timing than to rush into a relationship. As it is written in Lamentations 3:26 WEB, It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of Yahweh.
As you begin dating again, we pray that God will bring a godly man into your life who has good intentions and shares your faith and values. We pray that your relationship will be a blessing to each other and that it will honor God. Remember that a relationship should be slow-burning, allowing time for you to get to know each other and to seek God's will together.
Finally, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our sister in Christ. We thank You for her faith and commitment to You. We pray that You will guide her as she begins dating again, and that You will bring a godly man into her life who shares her faith and values. We pray that their relationship will be a blessing to each other and that it will honor You.
We pray that You will give her patience and wisdom in her Holy Spirit to seek Your will and to trust in Your timing. We pray that You will protect her from temptation and keep her pure until marriage. And if there is any trauma or fear from the past cheating, we pray for her deliverance and total freedom. And if there is any hidden sin that has not been addressed, we pray that she will have the courage to confess and repent for peace. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
