Prayer for a job

Dear lord, I thank you for everything you have blessed me with. Family, my wife, children, farm, home projects, studies. I trust in your word and pray for a job as management decides on the best candidate. I pray, lord, that you grant me the job by your grace. Father, give favor, I pray in Jesus Christ's name, Amen. Bless your word for me today, that Psalm 118:17, "I will live and not die, and I will tell what the Lord has done. Lord, do it for me to get a job, I pray, Amen. I take on the prophecy that The Lord has already secured your future, your destiny, and your victory through the power of His Blood and His Word!

We join with you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His abundant blessings over your life—your godly marriage, your children, your farm, your home, and your studies. It is clear that you are trusting in the Lord’s provision, and we commend you for seeking His favor in this season of waiting for a job. You have rightly acknowledged that it is only by the grace of God and through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach the throne of God with confidence. Your prayer is rooted in faith, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that the Lord hears and answers according to His perfect will.

The scripture you claimed, Psalm 118:17, is a powerful declaration of trust in the Lord’s faithfulness: *"I will live and not die, and I will tell what the Lord has done."* This verse reminds us that our lives are in His hands, and He is the one who sustains us, opens doors, and secures our future. We also remember the promise in Jeremiah 29:11, where the Lord declares, *"For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* Your future is indeed secure in Christ, and we pray that you would walk in the confidence of that truth, knowing that He has already gone before you to prepare the way.

As you await this decision, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s will above all else. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* It is not merely about receiving the job but about aligning your heart with God’s purpose for your life. If this position is His will, He will grant you favor with those in authority. If He has another path for you, trust that it is for your good and His glory. Either way, He is working all things together for your ultimate good (Romans 8:28).

We also remind you of the importance of diligence and excellence in all you do. Colossians 3:23-24 tells us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Whether in your current responsibilities, your studies, or your preparations, let your work be a testimony of your faith in Christ. The Lord honors those who are faithful in the little things, and He will entrust you with more as you steward well what He has already given you.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your goodness and faithfulness. We thank You for our brother, for his trust in You, and for the way he seeks Your will in this season of his life. Lord, You know his needs, his desires, and the plans You have for him. We ask that You grant him favor in the eyes of those making this decision. Open the doors that no man can shut, and if this job aligns with Your will, let it be granted to him by Your grace. Give him wisdom, peace, and patience as he waits on You.

Father, we pray that You would provide for him and his family in every way. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust that You will meet all his needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Strengthen his faith, Lord, and remind him that his value and identity are found in You alone, not in any job or position. Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may he continue to declare Your works in his life.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may try to creep in during this waiting period. Instead, fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Let him rest in the assurance that You are working all things for his good and that Your timing is perfect.

Finally, Father, we pray that You would use him mightily in whatever role You place him. Let his life be a light for Christ, and may he bring glory to Your name in all that he does. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, brother. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Continue to seek Him first, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). We are praying with you and believing for God’s best in your life. May His peace guard your heart and mind as you trust in Him.

We're right there with you, brother, lifting you up in our prayers. We're so grateful for the many blessings you've enumerated - your family, your home, your studies. It's clear that you're trusting in the Lord's provision, and we're standing with you in faith, believing that He hears and will answer according to His perfect will.

We're claiming Psalm 118:17 with you, "I will live and not die, and I will tell what the Lord has done." We trust that He who has sustained us thus far will continue to do so, opening doors and securing your future. We also remember Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Your future is indeed secure in Christ.

As you wait for this decision, let's keep our hearts aligned with God's purpose. It's not just about receiving the job, but about seeking His will above all else. If this position is His will, He will grant you favor with those in authority. If He has another path for you, trust that it's for your good and His glory.

Let's also remember the importance of diligence and excellence in all we do. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."

Now, let's pray together:

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you allowed us to join you in lifting up your job search before the Lord, trusting in His perfect timing and provision for your family. Your heart of gratitude—even in this season of waiting—has been a powerful testimony to us all, reminding us that faith is not just in the asking but in the praising Him for what He has already done. We have continued to pray over your request, declaring Psalm 118:17 over you, that you *will* live and not die, and that you *will* proclaim what the Lord has done as He opens this door by His grace.

We know how deeply you desire this opportunity, not just for yourself but to steward well the blessings God has already entrusted to you—your family, your farm, your studies, and the projects He’s allowed you to undertake. It’s clear you’re seeking more than a job; you’re seeking His favor to walk in the purpose He’s prepared for you. And so we’ve been praying specifically for the decision-makers involved, that the Lord would soften their hearts, guide their choices, and make it undeniable that *you* are the candidate He has chosen for this role. We’ve also prayed for supernatural peace to guard your heart as you wait, knowing that delay is not denial, and that God is working even now behind the scenes on your behalf.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer—whether through this job or another door He’s opened—we would love to rejoice with you! Please share your praise report so we can give Him the glory together. If you’re still waiting, we want you to know we’re still standing with you. Don’t hesitate to post an update or renew this request; we are happy to continue interceding until you see His promise fulfilled. You are not forgotten by God, and you are not forgotten by us.

We declare over you again that the Lord *has* secured your future, your destiny, and your victory. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in your life, and we trust that He who began this good work in you will bring it to completion. Keep holding fast to His Word, brother. He is faithful, and His timing is perfect.

We are praying for you still in Jesus’ name.
