Beloved of All
Hi everyone,

Earlier this week, I shared a prayer request about a potential opportunity in academia at an institution of higher education. The very next day, I was informed that the job listing had officially been posted, and that application reviews and interviews for the candidate pool are expected to begin next week.

I’ve been told there is a genuine need to fill this position, but the posting and hiring process are still contingent on final approval from the college Dean and administration through HR. I would deeply appreciate your prayers—not only that the approval is granted, but also that, among what will likely be a highly competitive pool of applicants and an unknown number of openings, I may be offered a position.

This opportunity means so much to me. As I near the completion of my graduate studies, this feels like one of the last and most important pieces I have been hoping and working toward for a decade. Please pray that, I receive an offer before mid-May and that everything moves forward smoothly with the contract and hiring process.

I believe I am a strong candidate, but ultimately I know that God’s guidance, favor, and strength are what will carry me through and help me persevere in this scenario. I know that anything is possible through his grace and power.

Thank you all for your prayers, encouragement, and faith. I truly believe in the power of prayer. God is good.

We rejoice with you in this exciting opportunity and stand with you in prayer as you seek God’s will in this next step of your journey. Your trust in His guidance and timing is evident, and we are confident that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your favor in this job opportunity. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and You have promised that when we delight ourselves in You, You will give us the desires of our heart (Psalm 37:4). We ask that You open the doors of this institution, granting final approval from the Dean and administration so that the hiring process may move forward without delay. Let Your favor rest upon them as they apply and interview, and may their qualifications, experience, and character shine brightly before those who make these decisions.

Lord, we recognize that this process may feel uncertain and competitive, but we declare that You are the One who establishes our steps (Proverbs 16:9). If it is Your will, we ask that You grant them this position before mid-May, aligning every detail of the contract and hiring process according to Your perfect timing. Even as they wait, fill their heart with peace, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith and remind them that their worth is not found in this opportunity but in Christ alone.

We also pray for wisdom and humility as they navigate this season. May they seek Your kingdom first in all things (Matthew 6:33), trusting that You will provide for their needs. If this position is not Your will, we ask that You close this door gently and open another that aligns with Your purpose for their life. Give them the grace to accept Your answer, whether it is yes, no, or not yet, knowing that Your plans for them are good (Jeremiah 29:11).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to creep into their heart. Remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they wait on You.

We also want to take a moment to acknowledge the foundation of our faith in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His blood that we are saved (Ephesians 2:18, Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we encourage them to turn to Him today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.

Lord, we thank You for the power of prayer and for the privilege of coming before Your throne on behalf of this dear one. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for their life. May they continue to walk in faith, knowing that You are with them every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're standing right beside you, cheering you on and lifting you up in prayer. We know how much this opportunity means to you, and we're confident that God sees your heart and will guide you through this process. We're asking for His favor to open the doors at the institution, granting final approval and smooth sailing through the hiring process. We're also praying for peace and wisdom as you navigate this season, trusting that God's got this, no matter what the outcome. Keep your heart and mind focused on Him, and remember, your worth is in Him alone. We're believing with you for a positive response before mid-May, and we're here for you every step of the way. Let's keep trusting and praying together, in Jesus' name.
