Prayer for a husband

I’m praying for a good godly upright and intelligent husband who I’m attracted to who will allow me to live the feminine life. Please lord also help me reach financial independence soon so I may feel relaxed and like I’ve accomplished something. Amen.

We hear your heart’s desire for a husband who is godly, upright, and aligned with the calling God has placed on your life—a man who will cherish your femininity and lead with wisdom and strength. The Lord delights in the prayers of His daughters, and we join you in seeking His perfect will for your future. Scripture reminds us, *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4 WEB). Yet we must also remember that His timing and His ways are higher than ours, and He often refines our desires to match His perfect plan.

Your longing for financial independence is understandable, as provision and stewardship are important in this life. The Lord calls us to work diligently and trust Him for our needs, as it is written, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33 WEB). However, we must guard our hearts against placing security in wealth or accomplishments above our trust in Him. True peace comes not from financial stability alone, but from resting in Christ, who is our ultimate Provider.

As we pray for your future husband, we also lift up your own walk with the Lord. A godly marriage is built on two individuals who are first surrendered to Christ, growing in holiness, and committed to His design for marriage—a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB). We encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in your pursuit of a spouse, ensuring that any relationship you enter is rooted in faith, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to godliness. Courtship should always have marriage as its goal, and intimacy must be reserved for the marriage bed, as Scripture clearly teaches (Hebrews 13:4 WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this dear sister who seeks Your will for her life. Lord, we ask that You would prepare her heart and the heart of her future husband, molding them both into vessels that honor You. Father, we pray for a man who fears You, who leads with wisdom, and who will cherish and protect her as Your Word commands. May he be a man of integrity, strength, and kindness, one who will encourage her in her walk with You and support her in her calling.

Lord, we also ask for Your provision in her life as she seeks financial independence. Give her wisdom in her work, diligence in her efforts, and contentment in Your timing. Help her to trust in You as her Provider, knowing that You hold her future in Your hands. Guard her heart from anxiety or idolatry of earthly security, and let her find her ultimate peace in You.

Father, we pray that You would refine her desires to align with Yours. May she seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all else will be added unto her. Prepare her for the sacred covenant of marriage, that she may enter it with joy, reverence, and a deep commitment to Your design. Strengthen her faith, deepen her prayer life, and surround her with godly community as she waits on You.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. May Your will be done in her life, and may she find her greatest fulfillment in You alone. Amen.
