Prayer for a Holy Ghost visit

Praying for the Holy Ghost to protect me and my family in the name of Jesus from all hurt harm and danger seen and unseen. God knows and those who have a spirit of discernment knows how Satan keeps attacking my body and his trickery/deception; god I need you amen.

We join with you in the name of Jesus and agree together for the Holy Spirit to fill your home and to be your guard and your comforter, for we know the battle you describe is real and God sees every attack against your body and your family.

We thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in that name that we have authority over all the trickery and deception of the enemy. Scripture reminds us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Eph 6:12. That is why we are told to put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Eph 6:11, and to submit ourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from us Jas 4:7. We rebuke every work of Satan against your body and your household, every lie and every deception meant to bring fear or infirmity, and we declare that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4.

We pray together for you and your family now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and ask for a fresh visitation of Your Holy Spirit upon this dear one and upon every member of their family. Surround them with Your presence as a shield, keep them from all hurt, harm and danger seen and unseen, for You are faithful, who will establish and guard them from the evil one 2 Thess 3:3. We ask that You command Your angels concerning them to guard them in all their ways Ps 91:11, and that those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Ps 91:1. Touch their body with Your healing hand, expose every deception of the enemy and give them clear discernment by Your Spirit, that they may walk in truth and not in fear. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus Phil 4:7, and let no weapon that is formed against them prosper Isa 54:17. We claim Your promise that You will never leave them nor forsake them Heb 13:5 and that when they call upon You, You will answer Ps 91:15. Fill their home with Your Holy Spirit, drive out all darkness, and let Your will be done in their lives.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word, for the Word is our sword and our light. Keep putting on the armor daily through prayer, reading scripture, and worship, and keep declaring the name of Jesus over your body and your family, for there is power in that name to save, to heal, and to protect. Trust that God who knows your struggle intimately is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Ps 46:1, and He who has begun a good work in you will complete it. We stand with you for continued protection, healing, and discernment, believing that the Lord is your keeper and will preserve you from all evil.

We hear how heavy this has felt for you and your family, and how much you want to feel safe and covered again. Wanting the Holy Spirit's presence and protection when you feel targeted and deceived is a good and honest prayer, and we are grateful you brought it to us.

It makes sense that fear would grow when your body feels under attack and you sense trickery around you. We want to gently remind you that you are not alone in this, and God has not left you to sort through it by yourself. At the same time, it can help not to stay focused only on the attacks. Keeping your attention on God's nearness, and staying connected to steady, trusted people, often brings more peace than trying to figure out every spiritual battle on your own.

One simple next step that helps many is to invite one trusted pastor or mature believer you know to pray with you regularly in person, not just alone. Sharing what you are experiencing out loud with someone who knows you and can walk with you and your family brings support and clarity. If you are having ongoing physical symptoms or distress in your body, please also have a medical professional check on you alongside prayer, so you are cared for in every way.

Father, we bring this dear one and their family before You. We ask for Your protection over them, for peace in their home and in their body, and for clear wisdom to discern what is true. Quiet their fear and draw them close to You, so they know they are held and not forgotten. Lead them to the right help and community around them. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for the Holy Ghost to visit you and to cover you and your family from all hurt and harm, seen and unseen, has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

You speak truly when you say that Satan attacks and uses trickery and deception. These sad villains will, if they can, attack every soul that desires to enjoy the grace of God. Satan says to the child of God, remember your failings, and he seeks to cast down and to deceive. Yet we are told in the Scripture that deliverance is of the Lord. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. Deliverance from the power of darkness and from the guilt and power of sin is as much the work of God as any other mercy, and we must look to our heavenly Father, altogether and alone, for it.

There is comfort for you in this, that the Lord has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom. The prisoner is ready to be executed, but there comes to him undeserved deliverance, for the King's own Son has borne the penalty of all his iniquities. When God Himself proclaims, I have found a ransom, then is the deliverance certain. Indeed, it is already accomplished in Christ Jesus. Your protection does not rest upon your own strength to withstand the adversary, but upon the blood of the Lamb slain and upon the power of Him who brought forth His people with a mighty hand.

So we pray for you now. O Lord our God, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, we ask for a gracious visitation of Thy Holy Spirit upon this dear soul and upon the whole family. Spread Thy wings over them and keep them from hurt and harm and danger, both that which is seen and that which is unseen. Expose the deceits of the evil one and give light to discern his devices. Let Thy Spirit be a guard round about their bodies and their souls. Heal where Satan has attacked the body, strengthen where he has sought to weary the mind, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Bring them forth out of all fear and bondage, and enrich them with Thy peace and presence.

Take heart, for the Lord chastens and tries His people, but He also delivers. You shall yet live and declare the works of the Lord. If we had no troubles we would have less to declare, but having been tried, you shall have a testimony of His faithful keeping. Trust still in Jesus, rest wholly upon His finished work, and look daily to the Holy Spirit for keeping and guidance, and He will not suffer you to be moved beyond what you are able to bear.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will keep you in perfect peace and make His deliverance manifest in your body and in your household, to the praise of His free grace. Amen.
