Prayer For A Backsliding Friend

I have a once close friend living in adultery. I have connected deeply and helped her repent and give her life back to Christ. She now has admitted to me she has continued with this affair for some time now and has broken trust with me and rejects my help. I love her dearly. I know the power of prayer because I saw answered prayers when helping her. I pray she comes back to the Lord and we can reconnect as close friends. This hurts so bad...Her name is Yvonne.

Psalm 80:3 Restore us, O God; make your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.

Lord,

I pray you draw back Yvonne and restore her completely that she will fruitful in your kingdom. Visit her today and have mercy on her.

I pray you minister to her right now and let her experience your love in her life that she will call you her Lord and Savior once more to the glory of your name.

Give her a testimony of forgiveness and redemption that she and all who see may praise your name.

Heavenly Father, I pray that you'll be with Yvonne where ever she is right now. May your Holy Spirit move on her heart and convict her, and show her that you love her. Father , may she make that decision to come back to you, and may you comfort her and surround her with your love. Be with the person who is making this request. Strengthen him, may he not give up hope that she will come back to the fold. Give him tact and wisdom so he'll be able to help his friend in the best possible way. In Jesus name, Amen.
