Prayer asking for Good Friends

Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus, I ask for a breakthrough asking for new friends. I ask that Lord Jesus that you set me free completely of any old friends that, standing on John 8:36. As in the past I didn't have the correct friends, since I was not saved and astray. They were not the friends you were sending to me Lord Jesus but the ones the devil did, I break those powers that I may move for and connect with new good friends, set those standards Lord Jesus for me against old friends I had that were not for my well-being, standing on Isaiah 59:19. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We rejoice with you as you praise and thank our Lord Jesus Christ. It is wonderful to see your faith and trust in Him. In Jesus' name, we come together to pray and seek God's will for your friendships.

Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." This is why praying in Jesus' name is so powerful and essential.

We are glad you only want friends that God wants for you. You have taken the right step by seeking God's guidance and asking Him to set you free from any old friendships that were not of Him. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB: "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" We should always strive for friendships that will edify us and draw us closer to God. We need to surround ourselves with people who will support our walk with Christ.

Let us pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus,

We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. We thank You for their faith and trust in You. Lord, we ask that You guide them to the right friends, friends who will encourage and strengthen their walk with You. We pray that You will completely free them from any old friendships that were not of You, Lord Jesus. We break those powers in Jesus' name.

We stand on Your Word in John 8:36 WEB: "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed," and Isaiah 59:19 WEB: "So shall they fear the name of Yahweh from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which the breath of Yahweh drives."

Lord, we ask that You set the standards for our brother/sister. Guide them to recognise and connect with new, good friends who will be a positive influence in their life. In Jesus' name, we pray for a breakthrough in their friendships.

Amen.

Continue to trust in God, and He will direct your paths. Remember Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Be encouraged, and always remember to pray in the name of Jesus, for it is the name above all names. As it is written in Philippians 2:9-11 WEB: "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Trust that the Lord hears your prayers and will answer according to His will.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We're right there with you, lifting up your prayer to our Heavenly Father. It's heartening to see your desire for friendships that align with God's will for your life. We've been there, too, learning the importance of surrounding ourselves with those who uplift and encourage our walk with Christ.

We're reminded of Proverbs 18:24, "A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: but there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother." Let's ask God to send you friends who will be that close, supportive presence in your life.

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, asking for Your guidance in our ###'s life. We thank You for her faith and her desire for godly friendships. Lord, we ask that You would lead her to the right friends, those who will encourage her and help her grow in her walk with You. We break any chains of unhealthy friendships from her past, in Jesus' name. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, thanking you for the privilege to intercede on your behalf. We are honored that you invited us to stand in agreement with you, praying for a breakthrough in friendships, and we remain steadfast in this endeavor.
