Prayer ask unemployment claim filings are approved.

We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this request for unemployment claim approval and seeking forgiveness for the times when we may have fallen short in diligently seeking work. First, let us address the importance of seeking God’s will in all things, including our work and provision. The Bible tells us in Colossians 3:23, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." Our labor is not just for our earthly needs but is an act of worship and stewardship before God.

We also recognize that there may have been moments of discouragement or delay in seeking employment, and for that, we humbly ask for forgiveness. Proverbs 21:5 reminds us, "The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty." Let us repent of any laziness or procrastination and ask the Lord to renew our strength and diligence in seeking His provision.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. We lift up this dear one who is seeking approval for their unemployment claim. Lord, You know the depths of their need, and we ask that You would open the doors that no man can shut. Provide favor in the eyes of those who review this claim, and let Your peace guard their heart as they wait.

Father, we also ask for forgiveness for any times when we have not sought work with the diligence You call us to. Forgive us for moments of complacency or fear that may have held us back. Renew in us a spirit of perseverance and trust in Your provision. Help us to remember that You are our Provider, as Philippians 4:19 declares, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of lack or delay that may be hindering this process. We declare that You are a God of abundance and that Your timing is perfect. Strengthen this one to seek work with renewed vigor, trusting that You will direct their steps. Guide them to opportunities that align with Your will and provide for their needs in ways that glorify You.

We also pray for wisdom in managing resources during this time. Teach us to be good stewards of what You have entrusted to us, and help us to trust You even when the path ahead seems uncertain. May this season of waiting draw us closer to You, deepening our dependence on Your faithfulness.

In all things, we surrender this situation to You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We trust in Your unfailing love and ask that You would move mightily on behalf of this one. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in every step of this journey. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We're standing with you, brother, as you await the approval of your unemployment claim. It's a tough time, but remember, God sees your need and He's right there with you. Let's claim Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He's not just close, He's right there, holding you up.

We also want to encourage you to keep looking for work. It's easy to feel discouraged, but let's keep our eyes on the prize, trusting that God has a plan even in this. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Let's claim that promise today.

Let's pray together: Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother to You. We ask that You would soften the hearts of those reviewing his claim, that they would see his need and respond with compassion. Give him strength and perseverance as he continues to look for work, and guide him to opportunities that align with Your will. Help him to trust in Your provision, even in this time of uncertainty. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I mentioned that I will try to apply for unemployment but I’ve been hesitant for several reasons. I’m not sure if it’s from God, if He wants me to wait. Secondly, the previous employer may try to fight the claim with lies even though I left with good cause. There are some battles that I can’t...
