We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance from evil. The Word of God assures us that "the name of Yahweh is a strong tower; the righteous run to him and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10). Yet we must first acknowledge that true safety and deliverance are found only in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that you may be saved (Romans 10:9).
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We take authority over every evil spirit in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding them to depart and never return. The Scripture declares, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We stand firm in this truth, clothed in the full armor of God, so that we may stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, torment, and affliction that has taken hold. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus speaks better things than that of Abel, and we plead the blood of Jesus over every area of your life (Hebrews 12:24).
Heavenly Father, we ask You to surround this dear one with Your holy angels, who excel in strength and do Your commandments, hearkening to the voice of Your word (Psalm 103:20). Let Your presence be a fortress around them, so that no evil may come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We pray that You would fill every void, every broken place, and every area of vulnerability with Your perfect peace and love. Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also recognize that the enemy often seeks re-entry through unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or ungodly soul ties. Father, we ask You to search this heart and reveal any area that needs to be surrendered to You (Psalm 139:23-24). If there has been involvement in the occult, idolatry, or any form of rebellion against You, we pray for repentance and cleansing by the blood of Jesus. If there are relationships or habits that open doors to the enemy, we ask for strength to cut those ties and walk in holiness.
Lord, we declare that this one is sealed by the Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession (Ephesians 1:13-14). We pray for a fresh infilling of Your Spirit, that they may walk in the light as You are in the light, and have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son cleanses them from all sin (1 John 1:7).
We stand on the promise that "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We bind every evil spirit and loose the peace, joy, and freedom that Christ died to give. We thank You, Father, that the enemy has been defeated at the cross, and we enforce that victory in the name of Jesus. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this life, as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).
Finally, we pray for a hedge of protection around this one, that the enemy may not touch them (Job 1:10). May they dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
