prayer appreciated ~

We thank you for sharing this request and we join you and your son in prayer before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

We pray that God will give you patience and steady hope as you wait for these responses. Scripture reminds us that by hope we are saved, and hope that is seen is not hope, so we wait with patience for what God will provide in His wisdom and timing. He has promised good things to those who trust Him, and He refreshes and strengthens us as we look to Him and not only to present circumstances.

We ask the Lord to guard your hearts from anxiety while you wait, to grant you endurance as Christ endured, and to help you to trust Him whether the answers come quickly or after a longer time. May He give you peace, keep you from being troubled, and help you to continue in prayer with a good conscience before Him.

We pray together: Heavenly Father, we bring this parent and son before You. You know the people they are waiting to hear from and the needs behind each hoped for response. Grant them patience, comfort their hearts, and let Your will be done in each situation. Lead them to trust Your care and to remain steadfast in hope through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this request for you and your son as you wait for replies from others. Waiting is one of the hardest parts of faith, and God understands how wearying it can feel when answers seem delayed and our eyes grow tired from watching for His help.

Scripture was written for our learning so that through patience and the comfort of the Scriptures we might have hope. That hope is what sustains us while we wait. The call in the Bible is to a patience of hope, a confident waiting upon God and upon His time, knowing that He will work. We do not see the answer yet, but if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it with patience.

God Himself is described as the God of patience and the God of comfort. He is not slow as we count slowness, but is patient, waiting for the precious fruit, like a farmer who waits with long patience for the early and latter rain until the harvest is complete. His patience has purpose, and His comfort meets us in the waiting.

This waiting also tests and strengthens our trust in Jesus. It is easy to trust when things are clear and rosy, but genuine trust is proved when we do not understand what God is doing or why the answer has not yet come. He has already done so much for us in Christ, delivering us and showing His great love, and that is the ground for trusting Him now for these smaller yet very real needs. When we look to Him rather than to our own limited resources, we find His resources are unlimited. The trying of our faith works patience, and when patience is allowed to have its perfect work it brings us to maturity, lacking nothing.

So continue to bring these requests before the Lord together, asking Him to work in His perfect timing and will, and to guard your hearts with hope while you wait. May He fill you with patience and comfort from His Word, establish your souls, and help you stand fast in Him with quiet confidence that He hears and will act for your good.

Father, we lift up this parent and son to You in Jesus name. You know each person they are waiting to hear from and each need behind those hoped for responses. We ask for Your will to be done, for Your peace to keep their hearts, and for Your Word to give them patience, comfort and hope as they wait upon You. Teach them to trust You more deeply even when they cannot see the outcome, and let them know Your nearness and care. In Jesus name, amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift up you and your son before the Lord and to pray for the responses you are waiting for from several people, asking Him to move in the hearts of those you are hoping to hear from and to provide clear and timely answers according to His will.

If your request was answered and you have received those responses, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and you are still waiting to hear, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray that He will grant you and your son peace while you wait and that He will guide each conversation and open the doors that need to be opened in Jesus Name amen.
