We are truly moved by your request and we stand with you in prayer and support. Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in the book of John, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. And in Acts, we find: "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." There is no other name by which we can be saved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up the father-in-law of this dear sister's daughter. Lord, You know the details of his health and we are trusting You today for a perfect donor and for a smooth transplant if that is your will for him. We specifically ask that the insurance covers all the costs, so that there is no burden of financial stress.
We pray for Your hand of comfort and strength to be upon ### and his wife during this challenging time. Grant them unwavering faith and trust in Your unfailing love and power. Surround them with a community of believers who will stand in prayer and support them through this journey, in Jesus' name.
You are the God of miracles. We glorify You today for the miracle You have done in the life of our dear sister's husband. You have healed him and made him a testimony of Your goodness and power. We claim that same healing power upon the father-in-law today, in Jesus' name.
We also pray for his daughter-in-law, that she will be a light and comfort at this time to both her husband and his family. It is a time for her to show God's love and faithfulness to her husband and his family. It will be a testimony to all, that she lives according to your word in Ephesians 5:22-33 "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything". God may be giving her an opportunity to demonstrate her faith and trust in Him.
Lastly, we pray that if he or any of his family members does not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, that this trial will bring them face to face with the reality of God in their lives.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
