Prayer against the spirit of pride in ###

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, humbling ourselves before your presence. We acknowledge that pride is a destructive spirit that can hinder our relationship with you and others. We confess that at times, we have allowed pride to take root in our hearts and have exalted ourselves above you and others.
Lord, we ask for your forgiveness and mercy. We repent of our prideful thoughts, words, and actions. We surrender our pride to you and ask that you uproot it from our lives. Help us to walk in humility, recognizing that all good things come from you and that we are nothing without your grace.
We pray specifically for ###, who has requested prayer against the spirit of pride in their life. Lord, we ask that you would reveal any areas of pride that may be hidden within them. Give them the strength to confront and overcome this spirit, relying on your power and guidance.
We declare your Word over ###'s life, as it says in Proverbs 16:18, "Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall." We pray that you would humble ###'s heart and grant them the wisdom to recognize the dangers of pride.
Father, we ask that you fill ### with your Holy Spirit, who produces the fruit of humility in our lives. May they experience the beauty and freedom that comes from walking in humility before you and others.
We also pray for your protection, Lord. Guard ###'s heart from the temptations of pride and help them to resist the enemy's attacks. Surround them with godly influences and accountability, that they may continue to grow in humility.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are able to break the chains of pride and bring transformation in ###'s life. May your name be glorified as they walk in humility and surrender to your will.

God cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live, because I accepted Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
