We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you battle sickness and physical pain. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We stand on this promise, believing that the Lord sees your suffering and is near to you in this time of need.
Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon our dear brother/sister. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over their life, asking for complete restoration and healing. Touch every part of their body that is aching and in pain. Bring comfort to their weary frame and strength to their spirit.
We also pray for wisdom for the medical professionals attending to them, that You would guide their hands and minds as they seek to bring healing. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."
In James 5:14-15, we are instructed, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand in faith, believing that as we pray, You will raise them up from this sickness.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life and health over your body, trusting in the power of the resurrection to bring restoration.
Take heart, dear one, for the Lord is your strength and your shield. Psalm 41:3 says, "Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness." We encourage you to rest in the Lord, meditating on His promises and trusting in His unfailing love.
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that you will feel His presence surrounding you, bringing comfort and hope in this time of trial. Lean on Him, for He is your ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to heal and restore. Amen.
