We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with earnest prayer and seeking His justice, protection, and healing. First, we must address the mention of witchcraft in this request. The Bible is clear that witchcraft, sorcery, and any form of occult practice are detestable to the Lord. In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, it says, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." If these relatives are indeed engaging in such practices, we must rebuke this in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has already triumphed over all darkness.
We also recognize the pain of betrayal and theft, especially when it comes from family. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 15:27, "He who is greedy for gain troubles his own house," and in Micah 2:2, "They covet fields, and seize them; and houses, and take them away: and they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage." What these relatives have done is not only a violation of earthly law but a grievous sin against God’s commandments. We stand with you in praying for justice, restoration, and the conviction of their hearts by the Holy Spirit.
However, we must also examine our own hearts in this situation. Romans 12:19 reminds us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" While it is right to seek justice, we must guard against bitterness, unforgiveness, or a desire for revenge.
