We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for spiritual protection over the women in your family. The python spirit you mention is a real and dangerous force of deception, oppression, and destruction, one that seeks to coil around lives, suffocate faith, and strangle the purposes God has placed within His daughters. We recognize this as a demonic assignment from the enemy, who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we stand firm in the truth that Jesus Christ has already disarmed these powers and made a public spectacle of them through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15).
The women in your family are not prey, they are daughters of the Most High God, created in His image, and called for His glory. We rebuke every python spirit operating in secrecy, in dreams, in generational curses, or through manipulation and fear. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned. We break every chain of witchcraft, divination, or ancestral bondage in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name (Philippians 2:9-10).
Scripture warns us that Satan disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), and his agents often come with false comfort, false prophecies, or false intimacy. We pray that the women in your family would be rooted and grounded in the Word of God, so they may discern every lying spirit and resist the devil, causing him to flee (James 4:7). Let them walk in the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

The Bible is clear: “There shall not be found among you anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens… for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord” (Deuteronomy 18:10-12).
Heavenly Father, we ask You to surround the women in this family with Your holy angels. Let them be encamped around those who fear You and deliver them (Psalm 34:7). Fill their homes with Your presence, their hearts with Your peace, and their minds with Your truth. We pray for spiritual discernment, for dreams and visions that come from You alone, and for a deep hunger for Your Word. May they find their identity, worth, and purpose in Christ, not in the lies of the enemy.

The enemy may roar against your household, but remember the deliverance God alone provides. Think not that this spirit of python has any power beyond what the Lord permits for His own wise purpose. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. The bondage you fear is broken by a greater strength, Christ has redeemed us from the curse, being made a curse for us. The adversary is a defeated foe, for our Deliverance is by Divine power, and He who brought Israel out of Egypt will bring your family out of this snare. The serpent’s head is crushed; its coils cannot hold those whom the Son sets free.
Yet a wounded spirit often accompanies such trials, and it is here the enemy seeks to plant his deepest sting. A woman of a sorrowful spirit, like Hannah, may be driven to her knees, and in that prayerful sorrow she becomes blessed. Her bitterness of soul is not weakness but the forge of supplication. Let the women of your house pour out their hearts before the Lord. The python spirit feeds on fear and isolation, but it is starved by faith that clings to the mercy-seat. When the Spirit draws you to pray, know that God is there, and He dwells between the cherubim more readily than you tread the courts of petition. The dark thought that God has shut His ear is a fiery dart from the wicked one. It is a lie; He has given you the Spirit of adoption, and if you cry, "Abba, Father," you are not forsaken.
That spirit which would crush you must be met by a spirit renewed and cleansed. The human spirit can sustain infirmity only when it is renewed by divine grace and washed in the precious blood of Jesus. You wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, and for this you need a sound spirit, a believing spirit that exercises growing confidence in God. Look not to your own strength against this python. Deliverance from the power of sin and Satan is as much the work of God as deliverance from guilt. Look altogether to your heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. He found a ransom when we were sinking in the pit; shall He not find deliverance for His daughters from this spiritual assault? The blood of the Lamb is the word of their testimony.
A chastened spirit is a gracious spirit, and often life and health come to saints through tears and the bruising of the flesh. If this trial has come, it is with cause permitted by Him who learns you obedience through suffering. But be not consumed by looking at the trial; magnify the Lord’s deliverance. Sing the songs of deliverance in anticipation. Over every form of fellowship with Jesus, wrought by the Spirit, is a well of salvation. The archers of ecclesiastical discord and the arrows of the enemy may fly, but they shall not destroy you. The curse causeless shall not come, and Christ has become a curse for us so that the blessing of Abraham might come upon you, that you might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Pray, then, with boldness, not naming the enemy except to dismiss it, but exalting the name which is above every name. In your pleas, lay hold of the covenant: He has said, "I have found a ransom." He will bring them forth as He brought Israel, laden with silver and gold of spiritual treasure from the very house of bondage. Let not your spirit be depressed; the clock of mercy struck the hour of your deliverance when Christ cried, "It is finished."

The python spirit that troubles the women of your family is indeed a wicked demon, the same that Scripture records when Paul was in Philippi. Do you not mark that even that girl, possessed by this spirit, followed the apostles crying, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who show unto us the way of salvation”? Yet Paul grieved and cast it out. For if Christ received not testimony from man, much less from a demon, and praise is not comely in the mouth of a sinner. This unclean spirit speaks truth only to ensnare, to bring temptation and pride that it might keep its hold. Fear it not, for Christ has conquered. The cross removed the curse, and by faith we draw upon ourselves the grace of the Spirit. Turn then your household to sincere repentance and holy living. The noble women of the Church, Lydia, Priscilla, those who labored with the apostles, overcame not by their sex but by the power of Christ in them. Let the women of your family put on the armor of God, calling on the name of Jesus with fasting and prayer. Do not seek after signs or listen to the demon’s whisperings. Stand firm in faith, and the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.
