Prayer against people touching me

Thaimont

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray that my neighbors that keep touching my things are punished by the hands of God. Please pray that for anyone that keeps touching my foot while I am sleep is punished by the hands of God and they lose out on money and opportunity. Please pray that anyone coming up against me be punished, because they are my enemy and I will no feel sorry for them, when they set out to do me harm. AMEN.

We hear the distress in your request and we understand how violating it feels when you believe your personal space and belongings are being disrespected, and we join with you to seek God's protection and peace over your home and your rest.

We must lovingly rebuke the spirit of vengeance in this prayer. It is understandable to want justice when you feel harmed, but asking God to punish people and to cause them to lose money and opportunity so that you will not feel sorry for them does not align with the heart of Christ. God's Word is clear that vengeance belongs to Him alone and that we are not to seek revenge ourselves. Romans 12:19 says Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. And Proverbs 24:17 says Don't rejoice when your enemy falls. Don't let your heart be glad when he is overthrown. We are instead commanded to love even those we consider enemies. Matthew 5:44 says But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Romans 12:21 says Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. To hold onto hatred and to desire harm for others will only harden your own heart and keep you in bitterness, while God calls us in Ephesians 4:31-32 to let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

We also notice your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. We want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is because of what Jesus did on the cross, dying for our sins and rising again, that we can be forgiven and approach God with confidence. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to confess your sins to Him and to receive His forgiveness and new life.

We want to pray for you according to God's will. We will not pray for God to harm your neighbors or to take away their money or opportunities out of spite, but we will pray for His righteous protection, for justice tempered with mercy, and for your heart to find peace.

We pray together in Jesus' name that the Lord will be your refuge and protector. We ask that He will guard your home and your sleep, that His angel will encamp around you as Psalm 34:7 promises, The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. We ask God to make clear what is happening and to give you wisdom to set healthy and lawful boundaries. If people are truly entering your space or touching your belongings without permission, we pray God will give you wisdom to address it peacefully and, if needed, to seek appropriate help from authorities to ensure your safety, for God has also ordained proper authorities for our protection. We pray that if your neighbors are acting wrongly, God will convict their hearts, bring them to repentance, and lead them to respect you and to do what is right.

We also pray for your own heart, that God will remove any root of bitterness and fill you with His peace that passes all understanding, that He will help you to release the desire for revenge into His hands and to forgive as Christ forgave you, not because the wrong is acceptable, but because you trust God to be the perfect and just judge. We pray that you will not be overcome by evil but will overcome evil with good, and that you will find rest knowing Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

We encourage you to continue to bring your fears and frustrations to God honestly, but to ask Him to align your heart with His love and mercy even for those you now call your enemies, praying for their good rather than their harm, trusting that God sees all and will deal justly in His perfect time. We pray all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior. Amen.

We hear how heavy this has been for you, feeling that your belongings and even your sleep are not safe. It makes sense you would feel on edge and want God to step in and make things right. You deserve to feel secure in your own home, and to rest peacefully at night.

We are praying with you for that sense of safety to be restored. While we bring these worries to God, it can also help to have someone nearby walk with you. If you have a trusted pastor, counselor, family member or friend, consider sharing what you have been experiencing so you are not carrying this alone. Taking simple steps to help your home feel more secure and talking with your doctor if sleep continues to be troubled can be good companions to prayer. We will continue to keep you in prayer, asking God to draw near and give you clear guidance in the days ahead.

Father, we lift up our friend to You tonight. You see the distress and the deep desire for safety and justice. Please bring Your peace into this home, guard rest at night, and give wisdom for each next step. Quiet fear and anger with Your presence, and lead toward what is good and right. Help our friend to know You are near and that You care for every detail of this situation. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Your cry has been heard, and I understand the distress that comes from feeling that your space and your rest have been violated. To sense that what is yours is touched without leave, and to be troubled even in sleep, is a burden that would weary any soul, and it is right to bring it before the Lord who sees all that is done in secret and who watches over His people by night and by day.

Yet I must deal faithfully with you as a minister of the gospel, and I cannot ask the Lord to punish your neighbors, to take their money or opportunity, or to bring harm upon those you call your enemies. Such a prayer, though it springs from a wounded heart, asks for vengeance, and vengeance belongs to the Lord alone. The Scriptures tell us plainly, it is God who will repay, and His vengeance is not ours to direct. There is appointed a day of vengeance in His heart, but this present hour is the year of His redeemed, the day of His acceptance and grace. To pray for the ruin of others is to step out of the place of a sinner who himself needs mercy.

Consider how great is the forgiveness which we ourselves require. There is forgiveness with God, that He may be feared, not that He may be used as an instrument of our anger. That forgiveness is not for a few small faults, but for great sin, for transgressions of every sort and every size, and it comes to us freely for Christ's sake, not for any merit of our own. He hung between heaven and earth to die for guilty sinners, that guilty sinners might be forgiven. If we have received such free, full, and eternal forgiveness through the blood of His Son, how shall we then withhold forgiveness from those who have offended us, or ask that they be cursed rather than converted.

Our Lord teaches us to overcome evil with good, and to pray for those who despitefully use us. If we do not pray for sinners, for whom shall we pray. If we do not plead for those who are perverse in heart, we omit to pray for the very persons who most need our intercession. The weapons of our warfare are not malice and imprecation, but prayer that God would turn the heart, bring repentance, and grant peace.

Therefore let me pray with you otherwise, as Christ would have us pray.

May the Lord keep you in safety and give you quiet rest. May He set a hedge about your dwelling and your bed, and grant you sleep without fear, for He gives His beloved sleep. May He give you wisdom to set right boundaries, to seek godly counsel and, if need be, the help of those appointed to keep peace, that what is yours may be respected and your person kept from all harm.

May the Lord also work in your own heart, that you may know more deeply how freely you have been forgiven for Christ's sake, and may by His grace forgive as you have been forgiven. And may He have mercy upon those who trouble you, that if they have done wrong they may be brought to see it, to repent, and to find that same forgiveness which is now to be had by faith in Jesus Christ, for there is forgiveness now, at this moment, for every sinner who looks to Him.

Do not wait to cherish anger until it hardens. Bring your hurt to Jesus at once, and ask Him to give you a heart that loves even enemies, trusting all justice to His wise and holy hands. He will not fail to do what is right, and He will keep in perfect peace the soul that trusts in Him.

I got scared by the title! I thought people were doing yk, I am so glad that isn't happening, but this isn't good either. But you should forgive them.

I am praying for this in Jesus name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
