Prayer against financial attacks

I am sorry to bother you but I need to be put on a prayer chain to break the legal and financial attacks coming against me. I have a scammer calling me saying he works for Allstate demanding that I pay $500 over the phone or he’ll have my license suspended. Please pray that God would deal severely with anyone threatening me with legal action or trying to cheat me out of money after my car accident or work injury in Jesus’ name. Please pray that every phone and email hacker interfering with my life would be severely punished by God unless they repent. Please pray for God to pay my bills in September in Jesus’ name.

We are standing with you in prayer against these financial and legal attacks and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find help and salvation. You did well to bring this in Jesus' name, for as it is written John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

We hear your distress over this scammer claiming to be from Allstate and demanding 500 dollars over the phone with threats to suspend your license, and over the ongoing fear after your car accident and work injury that others would try to cheat you or threaten you with legal action, and over hackers interfering with your phone and email, and over the burden of bills coming due in September. We want to assure you that God sees this injustice and He is your refuge. Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. And 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We rebuke the spirit of theft, deception, and intimidation that is coming against you. What these scammers and hackers are doing is evil in the sight of God, for Exodus 20:15 You shall not steal and Leviticus 19:11 You shall not steal. You shall not lie. You shall not deceive one another. We rebuke those works of darkness and we ask God to expose them and stop them. At the same time we must speak to the desire for God to deal severely and punish them. Scripture teaches us that vengeance belongs to the Lord and that His desire is for repentance. Romans 12:19 Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. And Matthew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Also 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance. So we pray for God's perfect justice, that He would stop every threat and every scheme, that He would protect you from all harm, and that unless these evildoers repent they will face His righteous judgment, but if they do repent they would find mercy and turn from stealing and lying.

We also want to encourage you with practical wisdom which God gives generously. James 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. Do not pay this caller over the phone and do not give him personal or banking information. Hang up and contact Allstate directly using the official number on your policy or their website, and contact your local department of motor vehicles directly to verify the status of your license. Keep records of these threatening calls, report them to local law enforcement and to the Federal Trade Commission, and consider placing safeguards on your phone, email, and credit. God has also ordained authorities to restrain evil, for Romans 13:4 he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn't bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil. Using those lawful protections is part of God's provision for you.

For your financial burden we pray with confidence that your Father knows your needs. Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And Matthew 6:33 But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. And Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also remember Psalm 37:25 I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the fear and pressure from these legal and financial attacks after the car accident and work injury. We ask You to be a shield around them. We ask You to silence every lying tongue and to thwart every scammer, hacker, and cheat who seeks to steal or intimidate. Expose their deception, block their calls and emails, protect this one's identity, finances, phone, and email, and prevent any unjust suspension or legal action. We ask You to command Your justice to go forth and to severely restrain the wicked unless they repent, and we pray that if it is Your will, those who do evil would be brought to repentance and turn from their sin and believe in Jesus. Lord, we ask You to provide for every bill due in September and to give this one wisdom, peace, and provision. Supply what is needed according to Your riches in glory, open doors for honest help, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We pray that You would grant favor with the insurance matters, with any legitimate legal matters, and with their workplace injury needs, and that You would give them discernment to know what is true and what is false. Guard their heart from fear, for Isaiah 41:10 Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We trust You as our provider and protector and we thank You for hearing us. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We are continuing to hold you up before the Lord, asking Him to break these attacks, to protect you from every threat, to bring justice and peace, and to meet every financial need in September as you walk closely with Him.

You are not bothering us by asking for prayer.

For that call, please do not pay anything over the phone to someone who contacted you this way. A legitimate company like ### and your state licensing office will not demand immediate payment by phone under threat. A steady next step is to hang up, look up the official number for ### and for your DMV yourself, and call them directly to check your account and license status. Keep a note of the number that called, dates and what was said, and you can report the calls to your phone carrier and to your state attorney general or consumer protection office. If the pressure about bills in September feels overwhelming, it can help to talk with a trusted financial counselor, a pastor or church business office, or a local community agency who can look at options with you person to person.

We have received your request and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace, and we will place your name upon our prayer chain as you have asked.

Your heart has been much troubled by these threats and demands, and we are reminded that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Our Lord would have you seek not what you shall eat or what you shall drink, neither be of doubtful mind. Cast your burden upon Him who cares for you, for if all the forces on earth are not sufficient to save His saint, God will send sufficient reserves from the ranks of the heavenly host to preserve His people. He shall send from Heaven and save you from the reproach of him that would swallow you up.

Concerning this caller who claims to be from Allstate and demands five hundred dollars over the phone under threat of suspending your license, hear wisdom as well as prayer. Do not pay money to any voice on the telephone that threatens you, for the wounds from a cruel tongue and the hellish artillery of unbridled tongues are often used by deceivers to affright the simple. No legitimate insurer nor lawful authority will demand immediate payment in this manner. Turn away from that voice. If you have concern after your car accident or work injury, take the appointed ways of prudence. Hang up, and call Allstate yourself at the number upon your own policy or bill, and inquire directly. Contact also the proper office that governs licenses in your state to learn the truth. Keep record of these calls, and report the scam to your local authorities and to the fraud department of your insurer, that others may be protected. In the way of separation from the ways of ungodly men and close walking with God, no man ever suffered real injury, and angelic protection in appointed ways is both personal and perpetual to those who walk therein.

You have asked that God would deal severely with those who threaten you with legal action or seek to cheat you, and with any who would hack your phone or email. We pray not from a spirit of vengeance, but for the justice of God and the mercy of God together. From the time when Satan fell, God's purpose was to break down everything which sets itself up in opposition to Him, and He breaks in pieces with His right hand everything arrogant that presumes upon authority He has not delegated. We pray that the Lord would frustrate every scheme of fraud, restrain every hand of theft and deceit, expose what is hidden, and bring to nothing the devices of hackers and scammers. We pray also that He would lift up the poor from the dunghill while He casts down the mighty from the seats of their pomp, and that those who do evil would be brought to repentance, for He delights not in destruction but that sinners should turn and live. May the Lord dry up every green tree of oppression and cause it to wither, and keep you from iniquity and from all that tempts you thereto.

For your bills in September and the financial pressure that weighs upon you after these injuries, we pray that the same God who will ransom His people from the power of the grave will redeem you from trouble in this life. If it is easier to raise a man from his dunghill than to raise him from his grave, and if God will restore us from the sepulcher, He can certainly restore us from sickness, from poverty, from slander, from depression of spirit. He that will bring your body from the grave will lift you up from the pit of trouble even when you are ready to perish. We do not ask Him to provide apart from means, but to provide through honest labor, wise counsel, and the kindness of His people, and to give you wisdom to steward what He supplies.

O Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, through whom alone salvation is found, we bring this afflicted one before Thee. Thou seest the threats that surround, the lying tongue, the hand stretched out to steal. Send from Heaven and deliver. Guard this life from fraud and from fear. Give clear mind and steady heart to test every claim, to seek lawful counsel, and to walk in prudence. Restrain the deceiver and the hacker, bring their works to light, and grant them repentance if it may be. Provide for every need in September according to Thy riches, and teach contentment and diligence in all things. Keep this soul from iniquity and give sweet peace to the conscience through the blood of Christ. Let Thy will be done, and let Thy child rest in Thy sovereign care. Amen.

Be of good comfort. Tell Jesus in plain field flowers of speech what you need, for He delights to hear the simple cry of a wretch undone without His sovereign grace. Keep your accounts guarded, use strong passwords, enable two step verification where you can, and let a trusted pastor or family member help you review any paper or email that demands money. The Lord is near, and He will not leave His own without help.
