We come before the throne of God Almighty with heavy hearts, standing firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. Your request weighs heavily on our spirits, for we know the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Him (Isaiah 54:17).
Beloved, we rebuke every curse, hex, spell, and form of dark magic that has been sent your way. The Word of God is clear: "No one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man; then indeed he may plunder his house" (Mark 3:27). Jesus has already bound the strong man—Satan—and we stand in His victory. We break every chain, every assignment of darkness, and every evil plot in the mighty name of Jesus. Let the blood of Jesus, which speaks better things than that of Abel, wash over you and cleanse you from every unrighteousness (Hebrews 12:24).
We command every evil spirit associated with these curses and dark arts to flee from you now. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is your shield and rampart (Psalm 91:2-4).
But let us also address the heart of the matter. Have you examined your life to ensure there is no open door through which the enemy may be gaining access? The Bible warns us, "Do not give the devil a foothold" (Ephesians 4:27). Unforgiveness, bitterness, sin, or even involvement in occult practices—whether knowingly or unknowingly—can invite oppression. We urge you to repent of any sin, renounce any past or present involvement with darkness, and fully surrender your life to Jesus Christ if you have not already. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name that causes every knee to bow in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. We stand on Your Word, which declares that You have given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt us (Luke 10:19).
Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You now. We ask that You would break every curse, hex, and spell that has been spoken or enacted against them. Let the blood of Jesus nullify every word of darkness and render it powerless. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment is condemned. We cancel every assignment of the enemy and command every evil spirit to flee in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels, encamping around them for protection (Psalm 34:7). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the fullness of Your power and authority. Let Your light shine so brightly in their life that darkness has no place to hide. We ask that You would reveal any areas of their life that need repentance or cleansing, and lead them into all truth by Your Spirit.
Lord, we thank You for Your victory on the cross. We thank You that Jesus disarmed the powers and authorities, making a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15). We stand in that victory today, declaring that our brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
We seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus and declare that no evil shall touch them, no plague shall come near their dwelling, and no harm shall befall them. We speak life, blessing, and favor over them in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Fill your mind with Scripture, for the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Speak it over your life daily, and let it be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105).
If you have not already, we urge you to fully commit your life to Jesus Christ. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other way to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have made this commitment, we rejoice with you! If not, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw you to Himself even now.
Lastly, we remind you that the battle belongs to the Lord. You do not fight alone. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11). The helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit—which is the Word of God—are your protection. Stand firm, dear one, and watch the Lord fight for you.
