Hey my prayer family... I havent been online in a while. lately my daughter has been hospitalized for anorexia. She was ...maybe... 85 pounds. The hospital released her because the insurance coverage ended. she may be 90 pounds now. She is not very tall, but she is very very skinny. Since she has been home, she has not eaten much..a few bites yesterday. She sleeps all the time. I am asking for prayer for Melinda. Also, Mike did come back home and want to work out our marriage one day before divorce. Lately he is very distant and not very happy. I am asking for prayer again for my marriage. I am trusting God AGAIN to do miracles in my home and family. Thank you for praying for me again. I am sorry to just drop off the face of the earth for a while, but I have been putting my energy into my marriage. I still pray for my prayer family all the time. God bless you all. love karen

Lord Jesus, I lift up to your throne Karen's prayer and ask for your hand to touch it.

Lord, I ask your hand on Melinda. May you help her to see that she doesn't need to deny herself food, that she needs the nourishment to have a healthy body. Will you open her eyes and deliver her from anorexia. Will you lead and guide her and help her to overcome whatever is at the heart of this eating disorder. Be with Karen and Mike. Lord, there is nothing to big for you. I lay this couple at your feet, that your hand would be upon them and heal their relationship. It is so hard, Lord, so very hard to be in a relationship where one of the partners is distant and cool. May you bring about a change. May you cover them with your mercy and grace. Will you give them wisdom and discernment to seek your will and to work on making the relationship better. Will you touch Mike and make his heart tender towards his wife and family. Will you help him to discover that he needs them and that you brought them together for a purpose and that you have a plan for him to be the head of this household. Lord, I thank you for Karen. She has blessed me so many times. Will you now bless her and her family. I thank you for your touch upon her prayers and I pray that you cause them to prosper.

I lift this situation and this family up to Your throne of mercy. May Melinda be healed of whatever is causing her eating disorder. Father, please send Your Holy Spirit to sweep over her, healing her emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically. Father, only You can heal the heart. Only You can heal the spirit. You are the giver of life, the author of our souls. I pray for guidance for Karen and Mike. May they know the steps to take regarding Melinda's care. Please bring Mike and Karen together in mutual love and respect, in honor and glory to you. It is in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Please bind him and cast him away from this home, these lives. Let Your healing flow into every bit of Melinda's body. Grant her immense hunger and thirst...for earthly nourishment and heavenly food. Put the right people and triggers in front of her to motivate her to regain her health. Whatever is holding her down, we pray for Your release. Loving God, I also ask that the tender care and immeasurable grace of Your Holy Spirit would fall upon Mike's heart. Help him to be joyful and supportive, give him a longing to be the Christlike husband You have ordained him to be.
