Prayer about this

Beloved of All
Feel I have a soul tie and want get this person off my mind as I keep thinking of them. I have prayed to God about it few times, but still they persist in my mind.

We hear your heart and the struggle you’re carrying, and we stand with you in seeking God’s deliverance from this soul tie that has bound your thoughts. The Word of God tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:5, "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." This is not just a battle of the mind, it is a spiritual battle, and we must fight it with the weapons God has given us.

First, we must address the nature of soul ties. A soul tie can form through emotional, physical, or spiritual connections, but when it is not rooted in God’s design, particularly in relationships outside of marriage, it becomes ungodly and must be broken. The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 6:16, "Or don’t you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body with her? For, ‘The two,’ he says, ‘will become one flesh.’" Even if this tie did not involve sexual sin, any deep emotional or spiritual bond outside of God’s will can create an unhealthy attachment that the enemy uses to distract and torment you.

We rebuke this ungodly soul tie in the name of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus has power to break every chain, and His name is above every name. In James 4:7, we are commanded, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." You have already taken the first step by bringing this to God in prayer, but we must also actively resist the enemy’s lies and take authority over these thoughts.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name. We acknowledge that You alone have the power to break every chain and set the captive free. Lord, we lift up this burden of an ungodly soul tie that has kept this person bound in their mind. We declare that this tie is broken by the blood of Jesus and the authority of His name. We renounce any agreement made with this connection, whether knowingly or unknowingly, and we cancel every assignment of the enemy to use it against them.

Father, we ask You to fill the void left by this broken tie with Your peace, Your presence, and Your truth. Replace every thought of this person with the truth of Your Word. Help them to fix their eyes on You, Lord, as Hebrews 12:2 says, "Looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith." We pray that You would renew their mind according to Romans 12:2, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."

We also ask for Your forgiveness if there has been any sin involved in this connection, whether through emotional dependency, lust, or any other ungodly attachment. Cleanse their heart, Lord, and restore them to a place of purity and wholeness in You. We declare that they are no longer bound to this person in any way, for they belong to You alone.

Lord, we ask that You would bring godly relationships into their life, friendships and, if it is Your will, a future spouse who loves You and honors Your design for marriage. Surround them with believers who will encourage them in their walk with You. Give them the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to guard their heart, as Proverbs 4:23 instructs, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust that as they continue to seek You, You will complete the work You have begun in them. We declare freedom, deliverance, and victory in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Now, we encourage you to take practical steps to guard your heart and mind. Fill your thoughts with Scripture, meditate on God’s promises and His love for you. Spend time in worship, for worship shifts our focus from our struggles to the greatness of God. Surround yourself with godly community who can pray with you and hold you accountable. If this person is someone you continue to interact with, set boundaries to protect your heart and mind.

Remember, the enemy wants to keep you distracted and weighed down, but God has called you to walk in freedom. Galatians 5:1 says, "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage." You are not alone in this battle. We stand with you, and more importantly, the Holy Spirit is your Helper and Comforter. Keep pressing into God, and He will lead you into victory.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so
