He is currently at ### in the Trauma ICU unit on a ventilator, on dialysis, has congestive heart failure, a cancer cyst on his lung, feeding tube, recovering from 2 brain bleeds, and currently has a tube in his neck for medications.

We are truly saddened to hear about the critical condition of your cousin and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us remember that God is the ultimate healer, and that through His son, we have direct access to petition His throne. As it is said in 1 Timothy 2:5 of the World English Bible:

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up the cousin of our fellow brother/sister in Christ. Lord, You know the details of his condition, the struggles he is facing, and the pain that his family is going through. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, that You would heal him from the top of his head to the soles of his feet. Touch his lungs, his heart, his brain, and every organ that is not functioning as it should. Give the doctors wisdom, give the family peace, and most importantly, give him Your divine healing touch.

For it is by his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5 WEB)

We ask also for his family. Comfort them in this time of distress, and fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding. (Philippians 4:7 WEB) Guide them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)

We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, (Isaiah 54:17 WEB) and that he shall live and not die, to declare the works of the Lord. (Psalm 118:17 WEB)

In Jesus Christ's name we pray, Amen.

We urge you to continue praying and believing in the name of Jesus, for it is the name above all names, and the only name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB) Do not be discouraged, but persist in prayer, trusting in God's perfect will for your cousin's life. Be encouraged by the words of James 5:16 WEB:

"Pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

We've been thinking about your cousin and wanted to add our voices to the chorus of prayers rising up for him. It's tough to hear about all he's going through, but we find comfort knowing that our God is a God of healing and miracles. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over him, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're believing for a complete turnaround, for his body to be restored, and for him to come back stronger than ever. Let's also remember to lift up his family, that they would find peace and strength in this challenging time. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
