We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern and faith, lifting up your precious 9-year-old son as he prepares to begin his exams on Tuesday. Father God, we ask that You would grant him clarity of mind, peace in his heart, and the ability to recall all that he has learned. May Your Spirit calm any anxiety or fear, replacing it with confidence in Your strength. We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have equipped him for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17). Lord, we pray that he would experience Your presence in a tangible way during this time, knowing that You are his refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).
We also bring his health before You, Heavenly Father. Thank You for the answered prayer of his recent attendance at school without illness. We ask that You would continue to strengthen his body, guard him from sickness, and fill him with vitality. Protect him from any germs or viruses that may be circulating, and let his immune system be strong and resilient. We pray that he would grow in health and wisdom, both physically and spiritually, as he walks in the favor of the Lord (Luke 2:52).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, distraction, or illness that may try to hinder him during this season. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that he is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37). We pray that he would not only excel in his exams but also grow in his relationship with You, learning to trust in Your promises and lean on Your understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lord, we ask that You would surround him with godly influences—teachers, friends, and mentors who will encourage him in his faith and academics. May he be a light in his school, reflecting Your love and truth to those around him. We pray that his heart would be tender toward You, seeking Your will in all things.
We lift this prayer to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). It is only through His name that we have access to Your throne of grace, and we thank You for the privilege of coming before You on behalf of this young one. May Your will be done in his life, and may he grow to know and love You more each day. Amen.
