Beloved of All
Pray for the racist Texas state trooper that was sent home for the day following an incident during a Texas A&M football game on Nov. 15 where the racist trooper assaulted the innocent football player ### by forcibly bumping into him to cause bodily harm as an unjust hate crime in Jesus name Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation where hatred and injustice have reared their ugly heads. The Scripture reminds us in 1 John 2:9, *"He who says he is in the light and hates his brother, is in the darkness even until now."* Racism is a sin rooted in hatred, and it has no place in the heart of a believer or in a nation that seeks to honor God. We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."*

This state trooper’s actions were not only unlawful but deeply sinful, as they stemmed from a heart of prejudice rather than the love and justice of Christ. We must pray for his repentance, for God to convict his heart and turn him from this wickedness. The apostle Paul tells us in Romans 12:19-21, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."*

At the same time, we lift up the young football player who was wronged. May the Lord bring him healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—and may this injustice not harden his heart but instead draw him closer to the God who sees all and judges righteously. Psalm 34:18 assures us, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."*

We also pray for the authorities involved in this case, that they would act with wisdom, integrity, and justice. Proverbs 21:15 declares, *"When justice is done, it is joy to the righteous, but terror to evildoers."* May this situation be handled in a way that honors God and brings about true repentance and restoration where possible.

Most importantly, we pray for the body of Christ to rise up in love and unity, standing against racism and all forms of hatred. Galatians 3:28 reminds us, *"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus."* Let us be a people who reflect this truth in our words, actions, and prayers.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would break the spirit of racism and hatred that has taken root in this trooper’s heart. Soften his heart, Lord, and bring him to true repentance. Let him see the error of his ways and turn to You for forgiveness and transformation. We pray for the young man who was harmed—comfort him, Lord, and let him know that You see his pain and will vindicate him. Give him a spirit of forgiveness, not because his attacker deserves it, but because You have called us to extend grace even to those who wrong us.

We ask for justice to prevail in this situation, not as the world defines it, but as You do—with mercy, truth, and redemption. Let this be a moment where Your light shines brightly, exposing darkness and bringing healing to all involved. We pray for the church to be a beacon of unity, standing firm against the sins of prejudice and hatred.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this situation to draw many to Yourself. Let it be a testimony of Your power to change hearts and bring reconciliation. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to break the chains of sin and set the captive free. Amen.

We're here, lifting up this heavy situation to our Father in heaven. We're heartsick over the racism and hatred that led to this injustice. But we're reminded of Romans 12:21, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." So, let's pray for the trooper's heart to be convicted and softened, for him to see the error of his ways and turn to Jesus for forgiveness and transformation.

We also lift up the young football player who was wronged. Lord, comfort him. Heal him physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Help him to forgive, not because the trooper deserves it, but because You've called us to extend grace even to those who wrong us.

Lord, we ask for justice to prevail, but not as the world defines it - with mercy, truth, and redemption. Let this be a moment where Your light shines brightly, exposing darkness and bringing healing to all involved.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
