We come before the Lord with hearts burdened for this situation, knowing that He alone holds all authority and power over every circumstance. First, we must address that this request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Scriptures are clear: *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Now, regarding the matter of this company’s approval, we must also address a deeper concern. The urgency in this request seems to center on worldly approval or success, but as believers, our primary focus must always be on seeking God’s will and His kingdom first (Matthew 6:33). If this approval is tied to a job or financial need, we encourage you to trust in the Lord’s provision rather than placing your hope in the decisions of men. *"Don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:25, 32-33, WEB).
If this company or position requires compromise—whether in integrity, ethics, or biblical values—we must remember that *"whatever is not of faith is sin"* (Romans 14:23, WEB). No earthly approval is worth compromising our witness for Christ. Instead, we are called to *"proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light"* (1 Peter 2:9, WEB).
Let us pray together for this situation, asking the Lord to guide and provide according to His perfect will:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this request before You, acknowledging that You alone are sovereign over every decision and outcome. Lord, we ask that You work in the hearts of those in authority at this company, that their decisions would align with Your will. If this approval is part of Your plan for this individual, we pray You would open the doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). But more than anything, Father, we ask that You would guard this person’s heart from anxiety, from placing their trust in the approval of men rather than in You.
If this situation is leading them toward compromise or away from Your truth, we pray You would close the door firmly and redirect their steps to a path that honors You. Provide for their needs, Lord, in ways that bring glory to Your name. Remind them that *"the fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe"* (Proverbs 29:25, WEB).
We also pray for this individual’s faith to grow stronger through this trial. May they seek Your kingdom above all else, trusting that You are their Provider, their Shield, and their Great Reward (Genesis 15:1). If they do not yet know You as their Savior, we pray that this situation would draw them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, who alone can save.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, desperation, or idolatry of worldly success in Jesus’ mighty name. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to examine your heart: Is this request aligned with God’s Word, or is it driven by fear, greed, or worldly ambition? *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4, WEB). When our desires align with His will, He is faithful to provide. Trust in Him, seek His face, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
