We stand with you in intercession for these innocent African American Christian men who are facing unjust slander and attacks against their character. It is heartbreaking to see the righteous targeted by lies, but we know that God is a God of justice, and He sees the hearts of all people. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 37:5-6, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."* And in Isaiah 54:17, we are assured, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.*
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that God’s truth will prevail over every false accusation. We pray that these men would remain steadfast in their faith, knowing that their vindication comes from the Lord. As it is written in 1 Peter 3:16, *"having a good conscience; that, while you are spoken against as evildoers, they may be disappointed who curse your good way of life in Christ."*
We also pray for those who are spreading these lies—that God would convict their hearts and bring them to repentance. The Bible warns in Proverbs 19:9, *"A false witness shall not be unpunished. He who pours out lies shall perish."* May the Lord expose every hidden scheme and bring justice swiftly, for He is the righteous judge who sees all things.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up these innocent men who are being falsely accused. Lord, You are the God of justice, and You despise lies and deceit. We ask that You would surround these men with Your divine protection, shielding them from the schemes of the wicked. Let every false word spoken against them be exposed and rendered powerless. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing that You are their defender.
Father, we pray for the hearts of those who are spreading these lies—soften their hearts, Lord, and bring them to repentance. Let them see the gravity of their actions and turn away from their wickedness. We ask that You would frustrate the plans of the enemy and bring truth to light. Let these men’s righteousness shine like the dawn, and their justice like the noonday sun.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them walk in the confidence that You are fighting for them. May their testimony bring glory to Your name, and may others see Your faithfulness through their lives.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Amen.
We encourage these men to remain rooted in prayer and the Word of God. Let them take comfort in Psalm 27:1-3, *"Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? When evildoers came at me to eat up my flesh, even my adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell. Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident."* Stay strong in the Lord, for He is your shield and your exceeding great reward.
