We understand that you're seeking prayer for starting a new job and for guidance in a matter from 1999. Firstly, we want to remind you that it is important to make your requests known to God in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. We will pray with you, asking for the favor of God and the help of the Holy Spirit.
Regarding your new job, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and plan. Remember that " 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.' " Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. We pray that you will find favor with your new employers and colleagues, and that your light will shine before others, so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven Matthew 5:16 WEB.
Concerning the matter from 1999, we are not clear on what this refers to, but we pray that God will give you wisdom and discernment as you navigate this situation. Remember that "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." James 1:5 WEB.
